Marissa Faireborn appears on-screen, wearing her armored white jumpsuit. She’s standing in Autobot City’s Command Center, in the human-scaled section dedicated to Earth Defense Command. Commander Faireborn addresses the camera and says, “With Ambassador Witwicky’s extensive absence from Earth, and Ultra Magnus’s continued presence on Cybertron, Autobot City is starting to feel left out of the loop.
“Optimus Prime, until Spike’s return, please assign another ambassador to Earth. Also, if you pick up any communications from Nebulos, pass them along to my office through Hurricane. We’re attempting to build up Earth’s space defenses – we realize what technology the Autobots can share is limited by the Tyrest Accords, but if you could spare an engineer to two to help, I wouldn’t turn them down.
“Decepticon agents continue to steal human bodies on Earth, and we’ve yet to determine why. Whatever reason, it can’t be good. No one has been harmed or killed, and most of the bodies have been those dedicated to medical universities for research, so at least we aren’t having to deal with grieving families. Still, though. It’s weird. We’ll continue to investigate.
“We’ve been getting some pings to our warp gate in orbit over Earth, so it looks like the new Nebulan gate is under construction and nearing completion. Jetfire, if you could spare some patrols to guard our end, I would appreciate it. I don’t expect anything bad to come through, but better safe than sorry. I also intend to take an EDC shuttle through once contact has been re-established.
