SG-Jazz appears on-screen in a message recorded in the cockpit of the Empire shuttle. Frowning but still looking cool, he reports, "This is Jazz reportin' in from the southwestern rift. Growler and I were comin' in to report on Jetfire and Magnus's appearance and disappearance in orbit, when our little scout Snoop reported an intrusive craft spotted coming through the desert portal.
"G an' me went to investigate, and sho' nuff there was a ship there - it looked like one of ours, but Snoop said the tech was different, and the Autobot sigil was red, not purple. When we approached it, it took off like a turbofox. Snoop says before we arrived it was oriented towards another rift next to a human military base - that may have been its objective. For now we're remainin' at the rift, awaitin' further orders. Jazz out, yo."
