Joes, we have evidence of alien machines among us – a potential threat greater than any ever faced on Earth, and yet also a chance for unprecedented access to military technologies heretofore unseen on the battlefield. And what are you Joes doing about it? Sitting on your damn thumbs!
I am not going to Colton to explain why we missed the opportunity to secure the first solid evidence of alien life on Earth. I want every available pilot and cold weather operative to get their asses to the Arctic and secure Arkeville’s dig site. Likewise, I want every driver and groundpounder to get to Seattle and bring me Goldbug and his hosts.
If you need to requisition heavy equipment for this – and you will – do it. If you need me to take you by the hand and lead you there, fine – just let me know when the equipment is ready to move and we’ll go. But so help me God, if you screw this up, I’ll have you all guarding outposts in Antarctica and replace you with semi-competent schoolchildren.
