Crosscut’s face is masked, but his voice is polite and diplomatic. “Emperor Desuzarasu and Empress Esumeraru,” he begins, using their formal names out of courtesy. “With Megatron’s absence, there is a real chance for peace on Cybertron. While Starscream has reached out, you should be part of negotiations as well.
“I would like to meet with one or both of you to discuss the needs of the Destrons as part of a proposed reunified Cybertron,” Crosscut explains. “Only by ensuring everyone’s concerns are addressed can we prevent future outbreaks of violence. The Destrons have shown themselves to be both honorable and reasonable. I welcome your input in any discussions of peace.
“Please contact me at your earliest convenience. I am at your disposal.” Nodding his head, Crosscut ends and sends the recording.
