Cobra Commander appears behind a desk in an undisclosed location, a large Cobra flag hung behind him. He’s wearing his mirrored mask with a blue helmet and paramilitary uniform, a Cobra sigil proudly displayed on the left side of his chest. While his face is masked, his hissing, digitally altered voice sounds pleased. He leans forward, looking into the camera reflected in his mask.
“Army of Cobra,” Cobra Commander begins. “I have witnessed your preparations and training, and I am delighted,” he reports, gesturing with one gloved hand. “I wish to announce that primary operations are ready to be moved to the Solar Serpent, which will soon be our main headquarters over Earth. I’ve arranged shuttles to bring personnel and supplies from Cobra Island and Cobra Unity to the new station – you’ll be receiving your deployment orders soon.
“With the recent election of Rob Finnegan as the next United States president, we have a new enemy to destroy – one that wishes to promote socialism and government takeover in both my home country and abroad. No! Cobra will liberate the world from such corrupt influences and bring a new era of prosperity and security across the Earth. You are part of that vision, and all of you have an important role to play in our future.
Cobra Commander raises his gloved fist. “To our glorious future! Cobraaaa!” After his rousing yell, Cobra Commander ends the transmission.
