History

According to Solus Prime, The Titans were never built for war. Calihex was built as a medical facility. Caminus as a factory of wonders. Chela as an animal sanctuary. Metroplex as a home for workers. Trypticon as an explorer of the stars.

OOC Note

Since Autobot City was built between 1985 and 2005 (according to the non-canon but source of inspiration The Transformers the Movie) and Metroplex and Trypticon just show up after the movie, on the MUX we originally said both cityformers were built as new Transformers in the 80s. Recently, however, it’s been retconned REVEALED that both existed on Cybertron before the Ark launch before going dark, and were merely RE-built in the 80s. Metroplex gave his original life protecting the Ark launch. Trypticon was a neutral space station before getting corrupted by the Decepticons.

• While Fortress Maximus is clearly Titan-class in size and power, since he was not built by Solus Prime some argue that he's not a "true" Titan.
