In his youth, STARSCREAM was one of the most brilliant scientific minds to ever graduate from the Crystal City Science Institute on Cybertron. When the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons began, Optimus Prime tried to recruit Starscream, but he refused. As a consequence, Optimus ordered the Crystal City destroyed as Starscream watched in horror. Shortly afterward, the Decepticons rescued Starscream and it was at that point he knew his purpose. He swore a life debt to Megatron and decided to apply his scientific skills toward the development of ways to fight the Autobots. Through his work, he found ways to design more complex transformations based on Megatron's original technology and has developed weapons able to effectively counter Prime's oppression. He approached his work with a grim demeanor and the fervent hope that one day, rather than using his skills for destruction, he would instead be able to work of the betterment of Cybertron.

History[]

Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:[]

As a consequence, Optimus ordered the Crystal City destroyed as Starscream watched in horror. Shortly afterward, the Decepticons rescued Starscream and it was at that point he knew his purpose. He swore a life debt to Megatron and decided to apply his scientific skills toward the development of ways to fight the Autobots. Through his work, he found ways to design more complex transformations based on Megatron's original technology and has developed weapons able to effectively counter Prime's oppression, including helping Megatron create the first gestalt from the rescued Constructicons. He approaches his work with a grim demeanor and the fervent hope that one day, rather than using his skills for destruction, he will instead be able to work of the betterment of Cybertron.

MUX History:[]

After Jetfire was built by Shockwave, he and Starscream became fast friends, which only hurt Starscream all the more when Jetfire betrayed the Decepticons and joined the Autobots.

Starscream and the other Decepticons attempted to sabotage the Ark's launch platform. When that failed, Shockwave and others gave chase in the Nemesis, followed by Megatron, leaving Cyclonus, Illarion, and Starscream in charge of Decepticon forces on Cybertron.

Contacted by Razorclaw on the good Alpha Trion's behalf, Starscream was reluctantly convinced that Cyclonus's judgement may have been compromised by his association with the Old One. As much as Starscream balked at the idea of treachery within the Decepticon ranks, he began to plan for what might have to become an eventual coup.

However, Cyclonus got wind of Starscream's plan, and with Krunix's help, arrested him, disabled his communication devices, and kept him in solitary confinement in Polyhex until he was rescued by Alpha Trion and Dust Devil. Recovering in the Temple of Knowledge, Starcream was found by his brother Windshear, who was primed and ready to battle Autobots to free him. Starscream assured his brother that he was fine, and asked Windshear to accompany Bug Bite and Skyfire while they went to investigate a signal in Zone Y-AT which may be related to the opening of the rifts.

When Alpha Trion was ready to close the Temple of Knowledge rift between his and the Shattered Glass universe, he summoned Starscream and his brother to say good-bye, wishing them both luck in ridding their Cybertron of the Autobots' evil.

When contact was resumed between Cybertron and Earth, Starscream's "sins" were forgiven, and he was welcomed back into the Decepticon Aerospace.

In 2016 Starscream attended Jetfire's coronation, and quietly grieved at the death of his former friend.

Weeks later, Starscream was entrusted by Megatron to lead an energy run on Autobot City. The shuttle, carrying Starscream and many senior-level Decepticons, was ambushed by Emperor Prime. The Autobots quickly overtook the shuttle. Starscream's wings were clipped by Prime and he was thrown from the shuttle, and was subsequently captured by Windblade.

Starscream eventually escaped, and traveled to the positive-polarity universe. In 2021, positive-polarity Cyclonus challenged positive-polarity Starscream for the title of Air Commander, but was defeated. Later that year, with positive-polarity-Megatron's disappearance, "Starscream" ganked his positive-polarity counterpart and claimed control of the Decepticon Empire, freeing the Empire's slaves and making positive-polarity Soundwave his new XO.

When Megatron returned, he defeated "Starscream" and locked him in Kaon's prisons. An agent of Liege Maximo appeared to Starscream in his cell and released him, replacing him with another Seeker painted like Starscream.

January 28 - "Pump-Felt Farewells" - Alpha Trion says good-bye to the Shattered Glass Decepticons and gathers the remaining Autobots to return to the main-universe Temple of Knowledge.

2016[]

August 19 - "A Premature Coronation" - While he would never would publicly admit he was happy hearing of the demise of ruthless Autobot leader Emperor Prime, Jetfire has barely contained his enthusiasm for being selected the next Autobot leader. While this has led to many grumblings throughout the Autobot rankings, Old One believed propping Jetfire up as leader would have best served his purposes. Now, as a small gathering of disarmed Decepticon leaders are forced to watch the coronation of the traitor Jetfire, the extravagant gala begins. However, a late arrival proves fatal to Jetfire. The moral of the story - if you are going to take something that belongs to Emperor Prime, you best be sure the leader is really dead.
August 19 - "Discussions of Death" - The Decepticons discuss the death of Jetfire.
October 30 - "Shuttle Attack (SG)" - A transport mission to Earth goes horribly wrong.

Just to ensure we are all on the same page, I will be issuing this list of orders I've given in this much more /simplified/ form for those of you to understand /clearly/.

>> Shockwave, you've been assigned to speak with Scrapper to gather information on the warp gate to see if one cannot find the coordinates of where our /dear/ Megatron might of been jettisoned too, and recover /whatever/ is left of him.

>> Soundwave, YOU are to lead the search and recovery of Ghost, my quarry is open to suggestions and requests of whom you may need at your disposal, I for one do not believe for a second she's just simply been 'eaten' and to just accept no other possibility's is foolish.

>> Vizier, I'd like to speak with you regarding possibilities in the diplomacy department, and just /whom/ maybe good prospects to add.

>> Destrons... I'd like to speak with Deathsaurus, Esmeral, and Leozack if possible, regarding the information on the bases and territories you own.

Starscream appears in his office in Vos at his rounded table before he starts speaking.

"I know these new set of orders will not /please/ many, and there will be those who'll question my authority and perhaps decent due to them, but they are a few among the many.. So.."

"Standing orders:

Effective immediately, that all Prisoners of war, and slaves under Megatron's rule are to be released, without risk of death or further harm, if they seek medical care elsewhere, then so be it, less a strain on our resources.

Next, all trade route attacks are to ceases till further notice.

Ghost and Soundwave have been ordered on medical leave for about 2 - 3 weeks depending on their needs, Effective immediately, should something need addressing, file it in a report too them.

I request an investigation into this little 'mess' that apparently happened outside of Helex to understand what has happened."

Starscream looks flatly at the screen. "I look forward too your complaints~" He then smiles and the screen winks out.

"I wasn't talking of the people Prime, I was talking of /you/... Then again I should of expected you to take such in such a literal manner... I suppose that is my fault, however, you also misunderstand not only that."

"You see, Megatron took what he wanted and got too greedy, I am merely asking what you want in return, as I'd need to speak to /others/ who where put into control by... previous management... Then again your transgressions are speaking much louder then your words Prime, the attacks on Hydrax and the Ibex Spaceport while I stand here with an open hand to allow more... peaceful, negotiations, so as they say, pot meet kettle."

"My offer still stands Prime, you stand here prattling on about such, yet you refuse to negotiate, and order attack after attack, yet, you refuse to parlay, so, once more, perhaps, a bit more bluely this time:

"I don't like Megatron, You don't like Megatron, I'm quite sure we're all sick of Megatron and this war at this point, I've what he's taken I can talk with you to get it sorted out, Let's meet, and hash this out to the point /he/ can't frag it up when he comes back and sincerely show him what a fool he was and is."

Right then Esmeral, I can grant your request for the territory at the Mithril sea... Ghost see if you can station diplomats in Altihex, Nova Cronum, and Simfur, see if ways we can branch out there... As for the Neutral Territories and Valvolux... May need more information if we're to honestly get more information..

I'll need ears and eye in Helex and Stanix, figure out just what in the name of primus is going on in there, report as soon as you can.

I'd like for you all to be rather /mindful/ of what you say on the comm channels and the boards as, well, I'm sure it's no secret that 'Primus Pilus' and his supporters have access to all our communications and could /easily/ use it against those of us if too much were to get out...

Knockout, I am going to need you on stand-by, and to meet with me soon as I may have a... project, you may be well suited for...

As for Helix and Stanix... Prep to render aid in what way we can, and do NOT get in the way of the diplomate I've sent to go and... negotiate their rejoining of the empire.

I'd also heed Ghost and Banshee's warning to not agitate Trypticon, don't need to anger the titan.

Shockwave, Arachnae, I'd like for you to prep the science division, and to keep me up to date on this Narcolepsy situation, furthermore, I may have more information to send your way in regard to a incident last October regarding a strange mist and the earthquakes following...

And as for whom Pilus is taking orders from... We must find out who this is, and prep for worse action, it's clear if this is our Lord, /something/ has happened or some power greater than he; has reared its helm and we all may be in for some trouble.

Right, well, now that, THAT is all sorted and if we can set aside the petty remarks, I am SURE are to come to mind upon seeing this in your inboxes, and what I have to say... Given most seem to agree the ceasefire is... Official, I would like to work forward to further agreements and meetings to secure this peace.

Pilus is... currently locked in a cell in Kraon, according to my informant, 'waiting' for his allies, which I don't take lightly, so with as much time we've lost, I'd like to try and get things moving quickly before the inevitable betrayal rears its helm. 

While they've broken away, I'd... Like to form a combined effort to get aid to Stanix and Helix, without any of us shooting at one another or blocking the others path and given Autobots must go through Decepticon territory to do that, I think it would be mutually agreeable to work together to benefit each other, and those in need. 

Second, and it /pains me/ to ask this, but do you lot know ANYTHING regarding the earthquakes and strange mists that had appeared around October of last year? There are mentions of strange dreams on the internet channel, as well as mentions of Hot Spots, which I speculated about, but were never confirmed, and if so.... What can we do to prevent... Well, what I assume everyone's fears would be, a war over them?

As Valour has put so eloquently. For the true empire, we must hold together, thus, I am asking those who stand in my support to gather in Vos, as it is likely hostilities will only rise in Kaon and cause eventual conflict, so for safety reasons, I am giving this official decree. 

Furthermore, given.. the incident in Stanix an ts burning, the mess in Helex, and the disappearance of Soundwave, Ghost and their kin, I'm placing Valour as my second... 

It's -obvious- he's not acting like the Lord Megatron we all know and respect... what with his plans on destroying anything and everything in his path that does not bend to his will... Tsk. After all we've accomplished..

And while some may see this as a Weakness, I consider this more a.. attempt to show I am willing to listen and be a more apt leader, I need help, considering how to proceed forward as there are those acting out and worsening our situation, such as breaking the cease fire, and those I am planning to disavow... So, tell me, I know you seek peace, but tell me, what else do you need? and what are your ideas? Tell me, come to Vos.

Right well, now that all THAT insanity is dealt with for the time being.. I have a few orders for those who wish to move forward instead of being /stuck/ millions of years in the past... And at this point it seems we're just going to have to /deal/ with known followers of Pilus seeing our work orders, so.. We'll have to work with what we have. 

First off, I need eyes and ears in Helex and Stanix, I need information as to what is going on there. 

Second I'd like those of you with brains to keep with the ceasefire.. I think we can all agree that attacking the last known friendly bar to any of our like is more than offense to just the autobots... Quite sure a number of you would have joined in kicking them out had you been given the opportunity.. 

I've sent a mail off to Crosscut in regards to arranging for another attempt to hammer out details on working through this peace agreement... as Well as a request for information regarding other /external/ threats. 

As for the Destrons... Leave them be for the moment, we will see how things go considering the position they are in.. 

Knock out, I still need to /speak to you/ in regards to a few things.

June 27 - "Hotspots and Colonies" - Starscream finally gets to talk to Knock Out and... applies a little pressure.
7-27 - "Internal Conflict Resolution (Citadel Side)" - Megatron and Starscream bicker as the Decepticons attempt to take Vos.
July 27 - "Vos Assault Voyeurs" - As Pilus sends his forces to assault Vos, Soundwave and he continue to have a discussion. And then Starscream joins the comms with a verbally scathing rhetoric. Is it misdirection, chaos, or are there deeper mysteries?
November 12 - "Imprisonment" - Starscream receives an unexpected visitor in the dungeons of Kaon.

Players[]

Shattered Glass Starscream is a TP character. After a brief time temped by BZero, StarscreamF15 played him until January of 2013. SpikeWitwicky took over SG-Starscream in 2016.

Atlanta-hammy played Starscream in 2021 and 2022.
