Matthew "Matt" Trakker, codenamed Spectrum, leads the Mobile Armored Strike Kommand (M.A.S.K.). An engineering prodigy, Matt's life was marked by rebellion and turmoil following the death of his father, Cornelius Trakker. As M.A.S.K.'s inexperienced leader, he faced the betrayal of his mentor, Miles Mayhem, and the loss of several teammates, events that have deeply haunted him and fueled insecurities about his leadership. Despite these challenges, Matt finds strength in his friendships with his M.A.S.K. teammates and G.I. Joe leader Scarlett, who support him in times of need. In the field, Matt commands the Thunderhawk vehicle and wields the powerful Spectrum Mask. He often displays unusual, repetitive behaviors, which can intensify under stress, leading to self-injury or aggression. Despite these challenges, Matt's resilience and dedication make him a formidable and inspiring leader.

In 2008, Trakker allied himself with G.I. Joe to help use his technology to defeat the forces of evil throughout the globe. In 2016, Trakker was commissioned as a 2LT in G.I. Joe.

Masks[]

Spectrum (Thunderhawk) - fires a sonic sound wave which deafened people unbearably, allows Trakker limited free fall flight, can fire a laser and allows Trakker to see in different visual spectrums.
