Despite possessing formidable weaponry, including bombs that can fire up to 8.3 miles and an 80,000-volt lightning-like beam with a range of 12 miles, he harbors a profound aversion to combat. This pacifist stance stems from the haunting memory of his home city's destruction at the hands of the Decepticons, a trauma that often inhibits his effectiveness in battle. Though equipped with high firepower, his courage is notably low, creating a complex and often contradictory figure within the Autobot ranks.

Silverstreak is a pacifist, a stance born from the traumatic memory of his home city's destruction at the hands of the Decepticons. This deep-seated trauma often inhibits his effectiveness in battle, as his courage is notably low. When the Autobots departed Cybertron on the Ark for Earth, Silverstreak, still grappling with his past, chose to stay behind, unable to join his comrades in the ongoing war.

Silverstreak was finally transferred to Earth in 2003 and acquired a Nissan altmode upon arrival.
