The Rust Sea is an area of unstable planetary matter and molecular flux located along Cybertron's equator, stretching from the Neutral Territories in the west and Stanix in the east, to the borders of Tarn and the Sonic Canyons to the south. It constantly emits a collection of corrosive, yet relatively harmless gasses. It is Cybertron's most prominent sea.
The Rust Sea
The Hydrax Plateau rises out of the center of the sea. Part the sea pours down into the Sonic Canyons at Thunder Falls.

Cybertron's primary spaceport was once located here, before being destroyed by the Decepticons. It was later rebuilt, and serves once again as Cybertron's primary spaceport.
