Scorponok's American design, taken from a British publication, based on a Japanese toy, manufactured in China.

A massive transtector controlled by Mo Zarak, Scorponok possesses a great deal of raw, savage power. He is built for brute force: his animalistic alternate form bristles with weapons, from multiple paired cannons and the dreaded electro-stinger in his tail, to the crushing grip of his mighty claws. These traits combine to make him both a terrifying foe on the battlefield. Ultimately, it may be only the power of Fortress Maximus will be capable of standing against him.

A Tale Of Two Cities

Scorponok is a gigantic robot built from scratch by Lord Zarak, the secret ruler of Nebulos, upon learning of the Transformers. Zarak used his mental powers to reconstruct the Hive's entire city into a robotic body for him to control.

In 2024, Zarak led an invasion of Hi-Q's secret rebel base, forcing the Joes and resistance fighters to retreat before the newly revealed power of Scorponok.
