Rumble was one of the Decepticons captured by Autobots and sentenced to death by Smelting Pit. While many of the Decepticons were rescued by Scourge, Rumble was left behind.

  • Since only the Shattered Glass setup is used from the comic and not the actual plot, Rumble is still alive.
  • Much like other Decepticons in the "Shattered Glass" universe, Rumble uses the colors of a Generation 1 Autobot. Specifically, he's in Rewind's colors.
  • Rodimus has a low opinion of Rumble and the other "tapes", declaring that they are only worth 15 points.
