Ringtone is a kleptomaniac who loves to find mischief as much as mischief loves to find him! With three modes of chaos, Ringtone is able to maneuver through tight spaces as a turbo-ferret! His cellphone mode allows for him to hijack and send transmissions. While not a too-confident individual, Ringtone loves to seek attention and rewards for his efforts. He is able to track scents, listen from a distance, and run very fast for short amounts of time. When not in his ferret mode, Ringtone often can be found wiretapping and hijacking the radios in cellphone mode. His datadrive mode allows for him to magnetize himself to metal surfaces to go unnoticed. Ringtone is loyal to those who notice him however he is very lackadaisical and has weak ambitions and motivations.

Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:[]
Ringtone was once a happy tapebot that mainly would eavesdrop on the conversation of others nearby. He would tell others about what he had heard for rewards. He was never a supporter of Megatron or Optimus Prime. He tried to remain neutral and mind his own business. During a potential assault in Praxus, Ghost had told Ringtone to take shelter to prevent being injured. Ringtone assumed it was a game of hide and go seek. When Ghost didn’t return, he eventually went dormant and deactivated to conserve energy. Now, with recent events on Cybertron, Ringtone has reactivated and is seeking out Ghost. He assumes it is his time to find her.

In 2022, Floodlight made Ringtone a member of the Diplomatic Intelligence Corps.
Ringtone also may have accidently copied parts of Starlock into himself. He refers to this as 'Screenlock.'
In 2023, Floodlight removed Ringtone's security access due to his affiliation with Veritas Prime.

- March 5 - "Trouble Stealer" - Ringtone confides in Swivel about his purpose. Ringtone also confesses on the IRC.
- March 8 - "Red Tape and Red Rocks" - Soundwave grows impatient with the silence from Cobra. Starlock, Ringtone, and Swivel head to Australia to assist in the search for Veritas.

Hello. I believe that Starlock has the data from our attempt to find the Sleep Sickness a few weeks ago. Since then, I have been roaming parts of your Cybertron to locate it. As I haven't had success or much to work with and my signal alone cannot locate it. I have decided that it is time for me to explore my options and locate where my creator was made and perhaps may reside.
Thank you all for this weird experience. We will meet again perhaps if the war is finally over. If it is not, then best of luck to you all. It's not my place to fix your planet and I am understanding that I now. I am sorry I got involved. I will not be bothering you again for quite some time.
