Decepticon Faction Report Page[]
As part of archiving the Transformers Universe MUX, we have been including BBPosts on character pages themselves with linkbacks. As of October 2023, we are moving towards a Reports page style where a by faction or type of report page is created and all reports are archived on these pages with link-backs to characters and or TPs without adding the report into the character page itself.
This is a WIP.
Roughout of formatting:
- Copy Paste into Visual Editor from plain text file
- Use bulletpoint for month day, year - report title - character (Linked please)
- Extra line break between report entries to break up wall o' text.
- If you're feeling extra, do links to characters and or places mentioned in the report itself

Sep 11 - Surrender[]
Starscream
>>Starscream looks tired, annoyed, clearly does not want to do this but he is, a mech who's been defeated clearly, normal things from a cybertronian in this situation<< I, Starscream of Vos, Surrender to Megatron of Kaon' >>With that it cuts off, no grand gesture, no snark, nothing.... its eerie.<<

Apr 29 - Contact at portal[]
<The Decepticon spinny stays in place, but Ravage's speaking voice plays over the audio channel.>
"Report begins: Portal in southwestern United States now claimed by the terrorist organization called Cobra. While scanning the portal's energy output, I observed Autobot Lodestone in combat with human jet. <The spinny fades to show video footage of a Cobra Rattler dropping ordnance on Lodestone.> The Autobot outmatched the jet easily. Also present was human child Daniel Witwicky. <video transitions to footage of Daniel skidding over the dunes on his bike> Lodestone shielded him, <footage of Lodestone standing over Daniel, protecting him from jet shrapnel> but was sufficiently distracted by the battle that I was able to move in. Human agent of GI Joe <footage of Lady Jaye running toward the camera> intervened. I defended my catch, but Lodestone attacked me. <footage of the head of Lodestone's hammer at very close distance, then the camera shudders and appears to lift off into the air>. I was forced to abandon my catch. Data on portal and readings on all local entities available. <The Decepticon spinny returns.> Report ends."

DECEPTICON SPINNY
Miasma appears on screen. "I've evaluated the disease, such as it is. Currently running tests with the engineer to see how much internal systems can be replaced on the infected, before the situation goes critical." Mixmaster is seen in the background in the workshop, with a gumby tied down.
"Additional Nucleon usage, our original stopgap has allowed for temporary usage after infection.
Her green eye rolls around, replaced by red. "ALL THE BETTER TO BURN OUT THE FRAME AND THE SPARK!"
The green eye returns. " The idea of burning out the system is interesting. Next test cycle will involve the introduction of incendiary elements into the energon stream. The T-Cog will need fully replaced, of course, but this is most promising."

Jul 06 - Ravage: Tagan Heights Infiltration[]
An Autobot communications base being established in the Tagan Heights as a forward observation base was called in by Onslaught while on patrol. An infiltration attempt was made by me under Onslaught's direction to see if the site could be disrupted or neutralized without an alert. Disruption disks for the mission were given.
Said infiltration mission was a failure, and the site will be coming online far earlier than estimates. It is moderately garrisoned for the moment and is a makeshift facility that will be fortified further. The infiltration was not detected nor were the disks noticed before disengagement. It is possible by the point of this report that the base site will be operational. This must be considered if further operations in the area. I however do have a thorough map-out of the layout, existent security, defenses, and sensor net though this will be compromised if the Autobots expand it from a makeshift facility. I will defer to the regional commander as to how to best deal with the installation, though its effect on operations in the sector will have to be alerted.
Nov 09 - Encounter with Hot Rod at Winding Roadway[]
>*A brief audio message can be heard as Blast Off speaks*< "Roadkill and I conducted a patrol in the Manganese Mountains today. We encountered Hot Rod running roughshod over the terrain as if he owned the place. We quickly disillusioned him of that idea and sent him packing, sans several key parts of his anatomy. Blast Off out." *audio ends*

Apr 26 - Slipstream Reporting in[]
Treadmaster's legacy was stupid, and it took thirty-five astroyears to verify it. Thanks.
Jun 25 - Re: Orders[]
Slipstream appears on screen, a smirk on her faceplate, "I can answer one of those for you right now. Stanix is a crater. I thought you knew. Hmph." The broadcast drops without further ado.
Nov 02 - Helex Cultist Uprising[]
Blast off reporting. I and several other Decepticons joined with several Autobots to disrupt a bunch of tasteless, tactless, and talentless hacks... I mean cultists who were using the Fallen's body to attempt to resurrect ....well, look up in the sky if you want to know, I suppose. Anyway, the key to get from all this is I was /magnificent/ and through my crackshot skills and courage I took down the red column of light and the Fallen's body (and all right, so I had a little help too) and saved Cybertron. Mostly. Alright, there were a few little explosions here and there, but I'm still here having to type this insufferable report, so there you go, Deathsaurus. And now I'm off to enjoy winning a bet with an Autobot. Ta ta!

Sparkeater
- May 24 - Sparkeater in Polyhex - Sidereal
Video feed of Sidereal.
"Sidereal, reporting from repair bay. Which is a surprise since I haven't even reported in properly upon my arrival. Consider this me reporting in as well after a long absence in the far reaches of space."
There is a buzzing, grinding sound in the background and Sidereal winces briefly. But then he continues.
"I figured there's going to be several reports coming in, but I might as well share my side of events. Shortly after I arrived at Polyhex - just a brief stop before heading to Tarn - the city was put on lockdown due to an unuusally savage murder. So I can't be blamed for missing my first debriefing. A small party of Decepticons decided to go investigate the body at the Dragstrip, whereas I stayed around central Polyhex. It was then, a creature lept out at me from the shadows. I bravely fought with it, but its use of cloaking and unusual agility made it formidable. Little did I know, I was face to face with a sparkeater. It had me pinned, and just it was about to devour my very spark, help arrived and it scrammed. But not far. Injured, fellow..."
Sidereal looks off camera a moment, face askant, as he mouths something. He nods to someone off camera while mouthing something again, and nods yet again as if receiving confirmation. He looks back to the camera.
"Fellow Blitzkrieg stayed with me lest it returned to finish the job, while the others chased it around Polyhex. I'm afraid I didn't get all the names - I will update my report with them later. The trap worked! Monster couldn't get enough of me. Injured, the monster returned and Blitzkrieg and I made short work of it. There was talk of gathering its remains for analysis, so I imagine that report is forthcoming. Someone else can confirm whether it really was a Sparkeater or not. I, for one, am doubtful."
Sidereal leans back somewhat, red visor dimming. "That is my report. Someone else can fill in the gaps. Sidereal, out."
- May 25 - Polyhex Report - Arachnae
Arachnae's masked and visored visage pops on as you scroll through reports. I was performing inventory in POlyhex.. and really, what some of you do with clearly labeled equipment should be an absolute crime, when the city went into shut down due to a reported murder. *snort* However, due to this report and after an examination of the victim, I was able to determine that the attach was not one of the usual back alley situations where someone was.. acting in a manner inherent to their position, but a type and style that matched records of a 'Spark eater'.
The victim, while frame was still warm, fluids not yet broken down into base components or cooled, the remnant energy that all sparks have upon dissipating was missing.
Reacting to someone.. calling that they were being attacked in another city district, I found myself with banshee (thank you CitySpeaker) and Deathsaurus. There was a small altercation in which the creature was significantly damaged and fled. Apparently, it ran right into the other patrol that was hunting it and met its demise.
I've collected the remnants of the creature and have had them relocated to my personal lab for study. I suggest that Polyhex re-educate themselves on what such creatures are to be certain that they are not at the forefront of some kind of infestation.

Vortex
- August 28 - Oh look life's returning! - Vortex
Vortex stares at the camera looking almost serious for a moment
"Okay before I even begin...this was not my fault. Ok so I was flying over Ibex minding my own business when I heard a distress signal going off. So I went to see if I could help them find some distress..erm. Assist whoever was in trouble. So the distress signal was coming from underground, so I went down to follow it. I reported this to Scourge and he came with me. Anyways, um.. so we were down there and there were a couple of Autobots up ahead but I never got there because there were WILD INSECTICONS there. You heard me. Wild Insecticons! So they were taking bites out of us and if that wasnt enough they COMBINED. I wasnt about to go up against a combiner without my brothers, so I kinda ran off. I think the Autobots got to whoever was first. There might have been some neutrals there but I was kinda....distracted by the giant bug combiner. Oh look, wildlife is returning to Cybertron. ISNT IT GREAT? Anyways that's my report on this.
- August 31 - Intel Orders - Counterpunch
<< the Decepticon spinny pops up on screen, before being replaced by the visage of Counterpunch >>
"While I'm sure that the rumor mill within the ranks of the Empire have already spread the word, consider this official notice: as of last cycle's meeting, Lord Megatron has placed me in command of Decepticon Intelligence. For the time being, Ravage will be serving as my XO - this is a reversal of roles, but neither of us are about to question Lord Megatron's decisions.
"That said: Nightshade, your cycles of skulking hidden in Iacon's airspace are over, at least for now. Air Commander Cyclonus and I both have plans for your specialized talents, which he and I will discuss soon; however, his plans will likely supersede my own, at least in the short term. Ravage, go ahead and report to Cyclonus, as he intends the same purpose for you as for Nightshade.
"As for the rest of you in Intelligence, I want reports of your current activities and missions, and I want them last cycle. Depending on those reports, you may find yourselves with new assignments. Glory to the Empire!"
<< Counterpunch disappears, replaced once again by the Decepticon spinny >>

- September 14 - OOC Notes from Meeting - Veri
---
Cyclonus
Cyclonus is XO
Counterpunch is Intelligence CO
Shockwave has been busy with Energon Experiments in Crystal City - hence random explosions.
Ratbat reported Energon Levels are good - almost to OPen War Levels.
Collect Soundwave and/or Veritas Prime alive or otherwise.
Look into Sparkeaters in Polyhex.
Let Autobots use their resources vs Liege Maximo as common foe, observe, then take both 'sides' out.
"The only way All will be One is if it's One under our empire. As always we will rise."
October[]
Ravage
The Autobots sent a large group to Helex, investigating the underground. at least two squads of mixed assault, reconnaissance, intelligence, and support personnel. They went underground to Helex where they investigated what was a former medbay in the facility. Some of the spark-frames seemed alive, in emergency stasis from lack of energon or worse. Most likely were experimental subjects by the Cult of the Silent Grill.
As the Autobots pressed forwards, the inert spark-frames became active and engaged the Autobots along with other, more mobile units -- survivors of the Cult. The Autobots defeated the spark-frames, whereupon I detonated explosive charges along the passageway they had come in. With luck they will be buried, if not they will have to dig their way out, and it's a long way to Autobot territory. Suggest follow-up investigation of Helex to look for survivors or remnants of the cult that need to be scourged.
================================= Decepticon =================================
A quick recon of Protihex was aborted due to the presence of Autobot Intelligence Personnel, including the head of the department, Jazz.
A quick engagement lead to myself retreating when I was discovered.

Oct 16 - Autobot Alert[]
A bloodied Skald, the looming armored femme with chains for hair, scowls on screen. From beneath her faceplate, she growls, "AAutobots have been sighted in Tesarus domain, they seek the Assemblae for their own nefarious uses!"
November[]
Nov 07 - The Sickness Cure[]
Deathsaurus
Deathsaurus appears on the screen
Alright, Decepticons listen up. Yeah I heard over broadband today that the Autobots cured the sleeping sickness. Liege Maximo was using a crystal array in the mercury swamps to spread the sickness and the Autobots and Junkions took it out. So, the sleeping should be waking up. And feel sick for about a week or so otherwise, it's over. I'm sure the Liege will know they broke his toy and will be attacking. Just letting you know. Like a good loyal Decepticon- Deathsaurus, out.
December 2023
December 29 - Assemblae Cybertronae - Megatron[]
Megatron appears on the viewscreen "My fellow Decepticons, Skald tells me of an item of great power, just outside of Tesarus's city limits waiting for the plunder. The Autobots have shown interest in it and we cannot let them get to it first. I want several warparties formed and sent to the location to collect the artifact. If the Autobots or neutrals get it first, I will be most.....displeased.
2024[]
Jan 08 - Assemblae Cybertronae Repulsed[]
We made a sweep across the Assemblae Cybertronae with the intent of driving the Junkions away from it to reclaim it. The Junkions were well dug in, having a reinforced squad present at minimum and active heavy defenses present. Intel was out of date, and they were not a rabble but were fortified and with support personnel. Upon discovery of this it was decided that insufficient force had been allocated for what was supposed to be merely an intimidation to make them withdraw, and withdrawal was called for.
Jan 14 - Thunderblast: Autobot Raid on Tesaras[]
Skydive
The Autobots launched a quick strike on Tesaras lead by Jetfire accompanied by several Aerialbots and Mini-Bots. Moderate damage was inflicted to the walls and defenses by airstrikes. Autobots from two separate cells were seen cooperating (a picture of Skydive of the Lightning Strike Coalition and Jetfire of the Iacon-based Autobots is shown) but were driven off by Deathsaurus and the existent garrison. Repairs to location in progress.

Jan 28 - Assemblae Recon[]
A badly dinged up and blown up Thunderblast leaves behind a generic and flat message along Operations Command network.
<< Engaged in recon operation of Assemblae Cybertronae with Skald. Encountered Junkions and current wielder of Matrix. Matrix wielder in alignment with Junkion Assemblae >> And the eternally un-spoken 'Megatron's not going to be happy'.

April 22 - Distress Beacon - Esmeral[]
Esmeral’s glossy black, silver, and imperial violet self pops onto the Decepticon reporting system.
"Good day oh esteemed members of the Decepticon Empire. As it would benefit our mutual interests, and as I happen to be stationed closer to this.. Ahh.. Tyrix outpost than Cybertron itself is, I will most humbly venture outwards to determine what our fellow Decepticons mean by ‘Under attack’ and ‘the sky is on fire’.
Deszarus, love, I’ll be taking the Queen’s Gambit. Toodles!"

- July 5 - "After Action Report" - Snare is discouraged from attacking the Toraxxis mega-refinery by the swift actions of Sideswipe.
Jul 02 - Cerebros Ambush[]
Ambushed the Autobot Cerebros along the Industrial Plains. He begged me to stop attacking him and finally came to defend himself with pathetic return fire. Upon taking heavy damage and him calling for reinforcements, I fell back. I left him moderately injured and hopefully he will be disabled for a period. Falling back for repairs.
Nacelle
- July 9 - "Mission Report" - Nacelle and Ravage do a reconnaissance flyby of the Autobot defenses in Ibex.
- October 8 - "Returned Have I!" - Weirdwolf announces his escape from Calyhex.
Oct 10 - Hun-Grrr: Glorious Rout[]
The lowly Seekers took notice of an Autobot forward outpost, of which my Terrorcons and I were dispatched to obliterate. They fled before our might. The traitor that fled with the Matrix showed up, but fled in terror when our mighty Lord Megatron himself showed up to obliterate all in his way. The Autobot outpost was leveled, and they fled in terror. To victory and our all powerful Emperor of Destruction! May the carnage never be satiated.
Nov 18 - Starscream: Mebion[]
The Liege Maximo launched an attack on Mebion and whatever the neutral city state that -was- near it. They threw their own Titan into it and several dozen troops. A response force led by our /glorious/ leader Megatron inflicted heavy losses upon them. The garrison at Mebion fought on to the last even as they were leveled. We were driven back thanks to the failure of the Autobot Titan to hold the line. Banshee, I'm -sure- that Megatron will be giving orders soon to Trypticon to ready to go to the attack to reclaim our territory. The Hot Spot there is -our's- and the sparks within are for us to mold. We will go back there and DESTROY EVERY LAST INTERLOPER.
And our glorious leader Megatron shall not accept failure no matter what it costs the rest of you.
Nov 21 - Starscream: Mebion Counterassault[]
This is our plan for the retaking of our land and the destruction of the Second Generation Cybertronians that have dared to foray into it. Movor, Laserbeak, you two are to maintain constant observation of it. I don't care for your particular foibles, do so or consider yourselves relegated to being voluntary participants in the smelting pits at Kaon. I want to be updated on the condition of the Titan, surviving forces in the area, and their positioning. Constructicons, you are to go to Mebion and see if there is anything salvageable from the crashed ships. If any of their heavy weapons or guns are salvageable, those are your priority. If viable, establish a limited forward operating base with artillery. When we strike, this will be used to bombard and soften up the positions. If there is no viable salvage, fall back. This is of secondary purpose and the base will be destroyed in the first strike regardless of the situation.
Banshee, /ensure/ that Trypticon is ready and willing. I don't care what you must do. We cannot attack without him. With the Autobots' own titan crippled, we can expect them to send a token force at best. If so, they are to be put into the first wave. They will be accompanied by shock-troopers and personnel that are... Useful enough to be sent into the teeth of enemy fortifications and artillery without support. Battlechargers, consider yourself included. And Misfire and Triggerhappy. Make yourselves useful for once.
After this foray, Decepticons, when we attack all assets but Trypticon are to perform interdiction and suppression strikes. Engage any surviving troops and fortifications. Your priority is support positions and personnel. Engineering, repair, and energon stockpiles. Do not engage the Titan directly, it is a waste of energon.
A secondary mission will be if there are any troops with sufficient firepower to breach the Titan to send in an infiltration team with high explosives. If available they will insert themselves and penetrate the Titan, and to cause as much internal damage as possible. This is dependent on causing a sufficient breach within so is to be on standby.
Trypticon will engage the Titan and slaughter it. Onslaught will have command of follow-up strikes to command and coordinate. Send in as many disposable personnel as needed to conduct distraction and draw off fire.
Dec 28 - Counterpunch: Intel Orders[]
<< text-only message >>
To all Decepticon Intelligence: I require volunteers for reconnaissance of Mebion -- specifically, Vigilem and the surrounding fortifications. And let it be known that volunteering is far preferable to me appointing you to it. I trust I am understood.
Dec 29 - Fortress Maximus Infiltration[]
To: High Command & Intelligence
Subj: Fortress Maximus
Summation: While Fortress Maximus was finishing repairs near Valvolux, I was able to use the crowds of construction crews present to bypass external security and work my way within. While in there I was able to discover several elements of useful knowledge of the Neo-Titan.
First, that for whatever reason Fortress Maximus requires the presence of the Terran Spike Witwicky to transform for unknown reasons. Perhaps due to damage to his transformation cog? But why exactly the Autobot sympathizer is required to be there for repairs is unknown.
Also, why exactly Cerebros is attached to the Neo-Titan despite his incredible youth of being not even a deca-vorn sparked is unknown.
Further scans of specialized equipment and electronics have been uploaded for analysis, as well as placement of reactors and explored layout of the Neo-Titan in base mode, and current security layout are included. Further, the Autobots seem more... Glitched than usual as several members were discussing the importance of listening to Squawktalk. This has been forwarded to Psycho-Mechanical Warfare for utilization. I was not detected in the infiltration and extricated myself, all data has been uploaded to the Intelligence mainframe for review and analysis by research and engineering personnel.
Separately and completely in unrelated manners, Squawktalk is left beaten up and mauled in the medbay, only able to say 'How you like them crackers' with a terrified look in his optics.

Cancould
- 2/5 - "Message from Air Commander Cyclonus" - In a commanding transmission from Cancould, Cyclonus informs the Decepticons about a Space Bridge leading to a jungle world with potential Cybertronian technology, orders Counterpunch to assemble an intelligence squad, and stresses the importance of preparation while demanding reports from all division heads.
Feb 18 - Ravage: Mission to Eukaris[]
On the Doomsday, Cyclonus lead a survey team to the planet Eukaris. There, a quick strike was launched when a group of the natives was located. Our priority was to destabilize them and prevent them from forging alliances amongst the factions. Using this as a diversion, other units were sent across the planet for separate missions.
While there, the natives somehow activated a Titan that acted as a guardian unit for the planet. Given their reactions, it is some sort of mythological figure to them. We were able to inflict a degree of damage to it that the natives may not have the capabilities to repair in a timely fashion. For now, personnel continue secondary missions as the Doomsday has withdrawn with most of the mission personnel.
Feb 23 - Hydrax Sweeps[]
Thunderblast
A portrait flares up on the screen of a mid-level officer. "I fail to see what the reasoning is behind the current flurry of activity at Hydrax. Hun-Grrr went up and announced himself for no real reason, Motormaster randomly drove in and then ignored the city; and then we sent in a raiding team without any actual raiders in it. I'm aware of the city's strategic importance but we can't keep sending in disorganized attacks without any real long-term plan. I'm aware that our commanders can do things at their leisure; but for now, it just seems like a waste of resources that lets the Bots look good and us look like failures."
Feb 25: Starscream - Coordination[]
My fellow Decepticons, we require some plans. Given the willingness of our Lord Megatron to delegate, this has fallen to me to take the initiative. Diggers, I want you going to the heights in the area around Vigilem. Get some artillery setup in the debris and ready to give fire support. Also see if you can't dig underneath Vigilem to the Hot Spot. It would be a lovely scheme to take all those sparks. Scrapper, Mindwipe, if we're to do this we need to make sure that we have facilities to stabilize them first. This operation is a contingency. I want the option of it present.
If we're going to go after Hydrax more, I want someone to present some Primus-damned plan of it. No more wandering in and taking potshots and leaving. The place is hardly important enough to be worth an offensive. It's not worth the expense of energon and resources we've put into it. If anyone does more than patrol the area, I expect a full debriefing on the matter at point of null ray and giving Shockwave more experimental subjects.
On Planet Beast we know that the native lunatics have a Titan. I'd like to get some historical research, even mythological, to know what we're up against. Look for allies on the planet we can use to our advantage. Or at least provide intel. The planet isn't worth leveling for now or enslaving the locals. At least not without a way to counter the Titan. Don't worry Deathsaurus, it's still on the list for cyberforming.
Cyclonus, I want your honest assessment of the state of Kalis as it's your city. If tenable, it might be worth it to reinforce it as a feint and make the Autobots paranoid that we're making a move against Iacon. Make them waste resources having to increase the garrison and intelligence forces to whether we're getting ready for an offensive from there. If you feel the city is vulnerable given the damage and difficulty of supplying it, it might be worth it to consider evacuating our assets and booby trapping it. We have some small bases throughout the area we can reposition to. The area is worth some hit-and-fades to make the Autobots keep their forces at home instead of elsewhere. These efforts are purely for a feint, they are not for a long-term offensive. We must put a minimum amount of resources into them. Also, it gives a good opportunity to gather intelligence on the area.
For now, I'd like to... Supplement our forces. There are plenty of mercenaries out there. Swindle, Gutcruncher... See what they're worth. Soundblaster is still out there and I'm sure he's willing to put things out for hire. Get us some disposable lackeys and we can cause trouble for the Autobots.
Next, I'd love to have Valvolux off the table. I detest the deserters, and I know that we don't have the ability to deal with them. But there must be some locals there who can be stirred up. Work covertly through our embassy. Intelligence, get some agents setup through that. Try to make the inhabitants restless and make things -annoying-. If we can stir up a revolt all the better.
Now what are you waiting for, get to it Decepticons!
Feb 26: Starscream - Oncoming Storm[]
We've been given warning of an oncoming storm, like the one which inflicted damage on Tyger Pax. The Autobots and Incognito have shared what data they have on it. The makeup of it, how Tyger Pax was readied for it, and as much information as they graced us with. The storm will strike Kaon shortly. All available personnel are to work on reinforcement and readiness for it.
Scrapper, I have a project for you and your team. The storm may provide an opportunity to generate a great deal of energy. Work on a way to gather it. You've done such things before on the mudball we were based. Consider this and helping to brace Kaon your -priority- assignment. Any complaints and I'll have you reassigned to finding a way to permanently repairing Blot's fuel pump issues and not let you out of the medbay with him until it is -done-.
Rainmakers, review the data on the storm and do frequent patrols past it. Have your frames reinforced if necessary to permit closer analysis.
Feb 26: Starscream - Orders[]
Get information on the device that Hoist and Grapple did on their power station on Earth from about half a vorn ago. If they're willing to share the information, say that it's to help stabilize the weather to prevent damage to the planet. If not, steal it or interrogate them.
Further, on Earth Cobra's used a weapon to control weather. It has potential to be weaponized against the Autobots. If we can blind Iacon and cut it off from the rest of the Autobot forces, then we can launch a series of strikes. I feel it has potential to go and... Discuss with them arrangements to have the technology transferred over.
Mar 11 - Storm[]
Under my leadership, the raging storm which impacted upon Kokular was fought off with only a minimum of damage to the city. All Decepticons performed incredibly well given the threat, and we have shown Cybertron why we are worthy of its inheritance. This storm, which leveled sections of the planet and obliterated lesser cities, rode it out with our power. All Decepticons, you have proven yourselves.
Cybertron is ours, and we shall obliterate all that stands in our way! For our right is to rule!
Apr 20 - Starscream: Autobot Kaon Breakout[]
The Autobots launched a raid on the prison in Kolkular from the underground. This, combined with a series of strikes along the border regions by Dinobots, Wreckers, and numerous other strike groups which seemed to have been designed to draw out the garrison and inflicted moderate damage on their own. All two hundred prisoners in Kokular were freed by the Autobots. This embarrassment was not helped by the Constructicons, who were present working on the prison where they were all driven away during the melee. A security breach of this level of Kaon /cannot/ be tolerated. Counterpunch, I request you make this your highest priority to investigate how they accomplished this right under the collective sensors of our security forces and ensure there's not a repeat.
Apr 24 - Chemical Mixer[]
A flash on the screen comes up that's sent to R&D.
"Weapons development, I have a new assignment for you. The Autobots require retaliation and a reminder of our schemes and threat. Mixmaster, Deluge, Oil Slick, you're assigned to work with the Rainmakers. I want a reactive, corrosive version of acid rain that melts everything it encountered and spreads, and that no currently deployed chemical suppressants can work with. You will work with the Rainmakers in testing said compound and working on a defensive matrix for it.
"You are authorized access to the samples taken of Perceptor's Corrostop as that is the counteragent the Autobots will work with, as well as files on the Cosmic Rust projector. Also look up files of Straxus' development of a unit called 'Toxitron' that may have ended up with the Deadites for all we know. I want something that the Autobots cannot stop that we'll in turn be using to blast their primary energon refinery and processor outside of Iacon. Let's deprive the Autobots of their primary fuel source on this planet and watch all the energon inside detonate and if we're lucky take Iacon with it. Take your time with this project, I'd rather it be done properly than rushed. We want a counteragent for our own assets so we can deploy it safely as well as contain it if it spreads to our own territory.
"Let us make Gideon's Glue look like a minor rust rash compared to it. Starscream out."
Apr 24 - Re: Chemicals[]
Miasma appears on-screen, "Ahh not quite the task I was working on, but I assure you I can be of great service here. Not long ago however, I should caution that certain rage-elements were introduced to energon only a mere few years ago, and I imagine even the Autobot forces will be screening their mixers. Having said that, it may still be possible to subvert. I am.... at your service, Lord Starscream." She steeples her hands together and gives a nod of approval.
Apr 25 - Re: Kaon Jailbreak[]
The once cassettecon, now fully liberated Ratbat (that's Senator Ratbat to you) drums his fingers, "Two. Hundred. Of Megatron's prisoners have escaped the most heavily fortified facility the Empire has. Should've had them all smelted, but regardless, here we are. What we do know is that the Dinobots attacked one of our intelligence structures, leading away the military personel while they raided the prison.... and we believe they came from Slaughter City up north. I think it's high time we either level this hellhole or level these Dinobots. City fighting is no joke, but they're far too close to us. We need a strategy, and a proper plan of attack to deal with them for good."
Rat-stylized spinny!
Apr 28 - Re: Chemical Warfare[]
Miasma appears on screen, "I'm pleased to inform that our new chemical weapon project is starting to take hold. There will be trials and trials..." She actually clasps her hands together joyfully "oh so many trials ahead. The concept starts with converting already existing moisture, such as natural rainfall, into the product we're seeking, instead of carting heavy liquids over Autobot cities. I believe an energy grid, held together by drones could potentially be used to alter substances passing through it. Lord Starscream's advice was most viable." Her eye rolls around to red, "Oh Arachnae... SEE WHAT YOUR APPRENTICE SHALL DO..." As she starts to cackle, her eye turns purple. She slouches there silent, and wordless, just staring blankly before the memo cuts off.
May 08 - Ravage: Slaughter City Sweep[]
A team went on a sweep through Slaughter City Defenses. Currently held by the Dinobots, the city is a threat against our emplacements in Kaon an dreuires clearing. A reconnaissance sweep was done which managed to locate many of the defenses, emplacements, and traps in the general area. However, in the process we took substantial firepower in return and withdrew. It is likely that the Autobots will reposition the defenses, but there is only so much they can do without totally digging out the area. However, they will be aware of our vector of approach.
- June 2 - "Response to Starscream" - Cyclonus harshly rebukes Starscream while issuing strategic directives to Decepticon forces, preparing for warfare against Liege Maximo, targeting key locations, manipulating political unrest, and ensuring Decepticon dominance through ruthless tactics.
Jun 04 - To: Operations[]
Starscream goes to appear onscreen, putting in an addendum over to his report over as he's gotten a reply from Cyclonus.
"Why thank you, Cyclonus. Your input is as always valued, as is your initiative." A very heavy layer of sarcasm layered over 'initiative'. "And I will note that we are Decepticons for a reason. Cunning and treachery are often just as good in combat as the most fearsome weapon. A warrior uses all available tactics in their arsenal, not merely all of the weapons in the armory."
"Operations, we need to make sure that the Cybertronian Empire must rely purely upon Vigilem's own internal factories for repair parts and energon. The fact that he's stayed immobile in base form means that resources are limited to what he has in his internal bays. The more energon he must waste on rebuilding defenses and troops having to be on perimeter duty undermines his position even further for when we send down Trypticon to destroy him. Cyclonus, I fully agree, and all forces are under your command to inflict as much damage and attrition to wear down our enemy as possible. I also leave the determination of Hydrax's fate to your discretion." He didn't even add an 'and don't disappoint me' in there. Someone is in a good mood!
"And Cyclonus, I simply don't care for the difference in those that lower themselves to the level of bio-mechanical beasts. If we had the resources I would suggest we simply cull the planets with acid bombs and then properly Cyberform them in a few thousand vorns. Thank you for your clear understanding of the priorities given to the two on the matter." Someone agreed that it should be Trukk Not Munkey.
"Kalis is useful as a forward base, if only to threaten Iacon to some degree and make the Autobots have to keep defensive units in their core territories to screen it. Anything we can do with a minimal investment of energon and resources to keep them forced to cover it is useful if viable. It makes an excellent base for small patrols and raider teams. We could establish small terror unit stores in dumps to use for future strikes. Cyclonus, do you feel there is any heavy equipment or useful things that we should extract from the city in the interim while we plan on how to make the Autobots pay dearly for it?"
More contemplation goes on. "Miasma has proven that the weaponized acid rain is feasible, I've forwarded her data. Continue with the project development. High-Tower, consider yourself volunteered for it as well to work on a deployment mechanism safe to use for artillery rounds and drop pods."
"Slaughter City is where the Autobots no doubt massed for their strike on Kaon. It is isolated by our territory. Your orders will be simply. Go in there, slaughter every Autobot and leave no one alive. I want the frames of the Dinobots left intact enough that Scrapper can make a throne for our Emperor of Destruction. Kill them all."
Jun 05 - Operation Kimia []
Starscream's authorization is kicked into Operations Command.
"This is the initial tactical plan for Operation Kimia, our chemical and ion attack upon Autobot facilities. The aims of this operation are to inflict as much permanent damage upon Autobot infrastructure and morale as possible, to let them know we can hit them anywhere, anytime, and to make all uncommitted city states remember that they exist at our discretion.
Cyclonus, Onslaught, I wish for you two to have at least a half dozen Autobot facilities that are priority targets for assault and disruption. Our primary bombardment will be targeted at Iacon or the primary Autobot energon refinery at Toraxxis, whichever fits the capabilities of our weapon when it is ready for deployment.
Once the mission is launched, I want constant reconnaissance flights over the primary target at a minimum of every ten breems continuously to evaluate damage and wait for the commitment of Autobot reserves to the area for damage control and containment. Once we have confirmed available Autobot reserves are committed, forces are to strike at Autobot infrastructure targets while they are spread thin. Exact targets will be determined based upon vulnerability at the time of the assault and the extent of the damage. Cyclonus, Onslaught, I will leave to your determinations whether to give strike officers full initiative as to whether attack or not or to operate at your commands.
Further, Cyclonus, I want your assessment as to whether Kalis is a good staging ground for the strike and patrols to minimize the reaction time the Autobots have to intercept an detect our units. They should not notice small supply shipments and the transfer of small cargo pods and operatives to it, but I will defer to your judgement. Personnel can be transferred for the short term by using electronic paint jobs so that the Autobots do not realize we are dispatching elite units and special operatives to there, if you deem it feasible.
This also will in turn make it likely in the short term a large scale Autobot assault or strike upon Kalis which if you feel effective you can lure them into urban combat or set large amounts of traps there to cause as many casualties amongst their personnel as you can. This is to be done at your judgement.
If the Ion Storm weapon allows for widespread communication disruption, we will determine whether to utilize it after Autobot forces are committed. This will slow their reaction times but will prevent fear and panic from spreading amongst their outposts.
These are the initial outlines for the operation. Exact preparations will not begin until the weapon is fully developed and ready for deployment and reconaissance is carried out. Strike forces should be prepositioned to attack upon appropriateness ahead of time to minimize Autobot chances to react and to allow full offensives to begin as soon as the situation permits.
The goal is to primarily inflict as much damage upon Autobot infrastructure as possible while we tie down as many of their forces, an with a secondary goal of spreading terror. This is the initial outline for the operation and it will be modified based upon the tactical situation and development of the weapon. Onslaught, Cyclonus, I defer to you on fine operational details and modifications.
- June 7 - "Storm Analysis" - In a defiant report to Starscream, Thunderstorm boasts that the Rainmakers effortlessly handled the ionic acid storms on Kaon and will continue to patrol and dominate the territory against any Autobot threat.
Aug 18 - Rust Sea Explosion[]
Thunderblast's faceplate flashes on the report screen, "Err, I was on a patrol in the Rust Sea and there was... A few Autobots doing an experiment. With a huge amount of energy . I think they were testing some kinda superweapon. But, I blew... I mean, it blew up so obviously it failed. As soon as it exploded I disengaged while the Autobots picked up the Jetfire parts from... It blowing up. It was probably one of Wheeljack's things.
Sep 03 - Starscream: Orders[]
Decepticons, as your Aerospace Commander I have noticed that some of you have seemed -quite- bored lately. Therefore I have some assignments for you to shake out some of the tedium. I've heard some of the complaints going through the ranks and thought I should be more proactive. Garboil, Howlback, please help ensure that there are no further complaints. I'm sure you both have it in you.
Vigilem has been fortified for quite awhile now. I presume the sparks there are long since gone. While Vigilem so far has not launched I Presume that he has completed repairs. Likely he's to be a staging ground since he's not moved to flee and for now Trypticon keeps him pinned. And we want the Autobots to send in Metroplex and Fortress Maximus first to damage Vigilem and then have Trypticon take out the survivors.
But, we don't know the state of his current defenses. I've decided that a reconnaissance in force is needed. This data is best gathered via a frontal assault on the heavy fortifications. Given the low probability of survival I've decided to send the most useless of you sorry lot against it. Runamuck, Runabout, Misfire, Triggerhappy, Sunstorm, Darkwing, Dreadwind, have fun! Come back with that data or don't come back at all. Actually I'd prefer you don't come back at all. Best of luck chaps!
- September 5 - "Eukaris Operation" - Intelligence Commander Cyclonus is deploying a team of Recordicons to Eukaris to conduct intelligence gathering and sabotage, while simultaneously preparing to rig the Kalis region with explosives for a future strike.
Oct 10 - Starscream - Operation: Cutting Lance []
The presence of the enemy Titan Vigilem has been allowed too long to blot our territory. For Lord Megatron's approval, I have produced an assault plan utilizing overwhelming firepower to obliterate it and every Maximo-aligned Cybertronian on the surface. With maximum violence we can destroy it before the Autobots can take advantage.
The first maneuver will be our heavy aerospace assets to bring several large asteroids within a few million kilometers of Cybertron into orbit. These will be when ready dropped onto Vigilem. The Titan will have to use its primary cannons and shields to destroy them. The focus of its weaponry, sensors, and shields will leave it vulnerable.
The Tremorcons shall be tasked with undermining fortifications along specific trench lines and collapsing them. Then, Insecticon clones shall be released en masse towards the approach to consume everything. The enemy can be buried in corpses.
Sparkstalker has revealed a... Weakness in their security systems. Their auxiliary Friend or Foe transponders are based around CNA protocols rather than spark systems given their force makeup. Thus, when heavy damage forces them to utilize their auxiliary systems, a massed strike package of as many Skyraiders as can be assembled will utilize rubsigns to bypass their anti-air defenses, if any are left.
Bombing runs shall target weak points in the Titan's frame. We've seen the time it takes Vigilem to transform and can hit at vulnerable struts. From there, Lord Megatron shall lead an assault to obliterate everything and seize the interior.
Trypticon will be left in orbit in a blockading position and to offer fire support but not to be committed to the battle other than as a contingency. This allows Trypticon to rapidly redeploy if the Autobots attempt to take advantage of our focus. Extreme violence shall be our watchword, and the slaughter shall begin, and we shall mount the head of the enemy Titan on Kaon's spires.

Oct 20: Senator Ratbat - AWOL Subjects[]
"It appears the lull in the war, while waiting for Liege Maximo has begun to drain our recruits. I notice a distinct lack of Bludgeon upon the battlefield, and when I looked into it, I see he left last orbital cycle without a word. The following Decepticons are also missing unless someone in Intelligence is smirking at me right now.
- Misfire (Please don't bring him back)
- Mindwipe
- Skullcruncher
- Stranglehold
- The Horrorcons
- Skullgrin.
This bears investigating...."
Oct 22 - Counterpunch - Re: AWOL Subjects[]
<< text-only report >>
At the behest of Ratbat and Starscream, I checked into the whereabouts of our AWOL members. I'm still looking to see if there were any orders issued or not -- I've found none so far, but as I'm no longer privy to high-level Intelligence operation directives, as Cyclonus was appointed Intelligence's new chief, that might not be a surprise -- but I have learned that they apparently took a trip through the Warp Gate to Nebulos. This is concerning, given that what information I have regarding Nebulos indicates that their Hive rulers are cyberkinetics and therefore might well be able to control them as a result. If this is a known Intelligence operation to which only Cyclonus and Scourge are privy, then I confess I am curious as to why this happened. If it is not? Well then, we may have a serious problem on our hands.

Darkwing, Dreadwind, I have ensured that your duties were recorded and have been edited for broadcast along with commentary by Knock Out. Their sacrifices will not have been in vain, nor has their service. If anything, their absence shall drive us to even greater heights. Further, RoadPig and the Firecons other than Sparkstalker were dispatched to confirm the location of suspected minefields. All have since failed to report in. Their confirmation of the suspected presence of enemy defenses will be as useful.
Further, we've seen that the spark field has been fully consumed and that our enemy has produced a new clone type that has not been previously encountered. This will be useful. Given you did return with -something- of use, you shall be permitted to return to service after repairs...
Nov 02 - Medical Assessment: Cynosure[]
<< the Decepticon spinny flashes on the screen, before being replaced by nobody's favorite gumby 'Con medic, Flatline >>
"Flatline here. So, imagine my surprise last cycle when I come out of my recharge cycle to find some Decepticon femme in medical quarantine here at Kolkular. After a little conference with Counterpunch, it seems that this is a stray that Ravage found two cycles ago -- lurking in the ruins of Helex, no less, specifically a floor down from the ground floor of the old Power Base.
"Counterpunch was also nice enough to send me the dossier on our little stray. Some, uhh, interesting reading... at least, what can be read of it: seems like about half of it is redacted heavily for whatever reason. Abridged version: Cynosure. Three solar cycles shy of her 60,241st vorn (OOC Note: five million years ago). Got an Autobot transformation cog -- won't hold that against her. Assault Infantry, switched over to Intelligence -- that is where all the redactions begin. Can't imagine why. Last mission, assigned to Helex to keep watch on the Triumvirate there -- Legonis, Octus and Seizer.
"Anyway, medical assessment: Cynosure claims severe energon malnutrition, had to ration out every last erg of energy for the last decade. Makes a certain degree of sense, but I can't deny there are questions I have that she isn't too keen on answering, at least not without some twisted humor. Like, how has she survived for the last three and a half solar cycles after the bombardment of Helex to beat back those loony cultists from Silent Grill? Her codes are outdated, and she did have some damage to her chassis that corresponds to her claims of mistreatment. That said, I did get her back together again, and she's firing on all cylinders, aside from software updates to bring her in line with current transponder frequencies and such.
"Oh, one last thing: Counterpunch mentioned something about not only the standard debrief for Cynosure, but also potentially a psychological screening as well. Not sure who Intel might want to do that -- Mindwipe's AWOL if I saw correctly, and... well, no offense, but I don't know that I'd trust Venom or Bombshell either one with this. Plus, honestly? Well, I'm not sure they could intimidate her into anything, especially since, and I quote her specifically on this:"
Flatline holds up a recorder and hits play, allowing everyone to hear Cynosure's Harley Quinn-esque voice. "Either of those bugs think they're gonna pull the cyber-blinders over my optics? *giggles* Wait 'til they get a load of me!"
Flatline shifts uncomfortably. "From what I've observed, she seems pretty certain that talking to herself is the most intelligent conversation she's had in the last 1.275 decivorn (OOC: approximately one decade). And knowing some of the troops we have here... I hate to say it, but she might be right, at least when it comes to the rank and file. Command, I await your orders on what to do with Cynosure in the meantime. Flatline out."
<< Flatline's visage disappears, replaced once more by the Decepticon spinny >>
Nov 03 - Aw, Slag...[]
<< The Decepticon spinny pops up, then disappears to reveal... a black screen. No picture, but there's most definitely audio that sounds like Harley Quinn, if she were a Decepticon. Anyone who checked out Flatline's medical assessment of Cynosure would recognize her voice from that recorded clip. Primus help you all. >>
"Heeellll-lloooo!"
>*a few seconds of silence*<
"Hey! C'mon, it's boring already! Someone talk to me!"
>*more silence*<
"FINE! I'll just talk to myself! What do I care, it's the most intelligent conversation I've had in the last 1.275 decivorn!"
>*still silence, and then... singing*<
- "~Nobody knows... the trouble I've seen.~
- "~Nobody knows... but Primus.~
- "~Nobody knows... the trouble I've seen~
- "~Glory! Hallelujah!~"
Flatline's voice suddenly pipes up. "What the sprock is going on here in my medbay?"
>*brief silence, then Cynosure's voice can be heard again*<
"Uh oh... heh! Sorry, doc! What can I say, the wiring in here is just too easy to access! My bad!"
<< The audio feed abruptly ends, replaced again by the Decepticon spinny before winking back out again. >>
- November 4 - "Orders" - From Communications Central in Darkmount, Decepticon Intelligence Commander Cyclonus issues a series of ruthless, calculated orders to his subordinates, dispatching them on missions of espionage, internal audits, sabotage, and psychological warfare.
- November 5 - "Further Orders" - Cyclonus issues a series of commands to locate missing assets, maintain the assault on Vigilem, prepare strikes on Autobot infrastructure, weaponize a new device, and warn his operatives against disloyalty.
Nov 11 - Ravage: Intelligence Commander[]
As per your orders, Commander Cyclonus, we are readying for reconnaissance operations to nearby Autobot outposts. I might suggest in turn we do a feint towards Slaughter City. That is most certain to draw out the garrison and Grimlock has never shown the capacity to resist. Presuming we can find good ground for an ambush, a hit and run that lags enough to draw out pursuit will hopefully get Grimlock leading the charge, and he can be lead into an ambush with overwhelming firepower and slaughtered, removing a thorn in our side.
I have assigned Howlback and Garboil to work with.. Enhanced investigative techniques to root out any... Murmurings of discontent. Further, we can always have the... Justice Division put in place to help ensure proper obedience.
With permission from you, Cyclonus, I would like to establish a forward base upon Nebulos. Skystalker's Rocket Base will provide a good transit system, and the deployment of Airwave and his airbase would make for an excellent forward operations facility. I'm aware that this would take both of our primary mobile Micromaster base facilities to one location, but I feel the advantage of having significant forward facilities that can be moved quickly is worth it.
Skystalker's transport can maintain a flow of supplies, ensure communications, and reinforcements and the airbase will allow for repairs and strike forces, and for our Seekers and other assets to exploit their maximum range which they might not have without a dedicated facility. I feel that we have more flexibility with dedicated bases over jury rigged, temporary facilities and keeping a warship in orbit of the planet is a waste.
Once there, we can establish communications with possible sympathizers, launch heavy strikes, and disengage as needed.
Nov 13 - Oh No... Not Again...[]
<< Everyone's favorite Decepticon spinny pops up, before being replaced by... nothing. No video again, just audio. >>
"Oy-vey. The things I gotta go to get attention."
<< Yes, everyone's worst fears have come true: Cynosure's somehow hacked into the system. Again. >>
"Okies, when I reach the point where I'm arguing with myself, it's a sure sign boredom's creeping in."
Another feminine voice is suddenly heard: calmer, more measured, more 'sane'. "If you would listen to yourself instead of arguing for the sake of hearing your own voice, you would probably not be locked in here still."
Cynosure mutters. "What-EVER! Don't mind her, she's just being a spoilsport. Anyway! Umm, I'm not sure who's gonna come talk to me so I can leave quarantine and all. But yeah, I'm still here. In quarantine. All alone."
The other voice comes over the feed. "You aren't alone. You know that."
"Pfft!" Cynosure grumbles. "As I was saying: totally alone here. Just... someone? Anyone? Even Flatline won't even talk to me anymore." A brief pause. "Ah slag, someone's coming."
<< The audio feed cuts off, replaced once again by the Decepticon spinny. >> ====Dec 02 - Guess Who's Back... Back Again... << The Decepticon spinny appears on the screen, before being replaced by the visage of a femme with a light gray faceplate and an electric-violet visor, and otherwise a black, charcoal-gray and metallic-silver chassis with electric-violet highlights. >>
The femme reaches up to tap. "This thing on?" That voice... oh yes, it's Flatline's most recent nightmare come to life. She's back! Again!
"Okay, I'm gonna assume this thing is on. Better be." She looks up and smiles. "Hi! Name's Cynosure. I just got out of quarantine after a /wonderful/ chat with Scourge." She pauses. "At least, I hope it was Scourge. It didn't sound like Brigand, at least. And definitely wasn't Singe -- he sounded disappointed that he didn't get to have fun with me, but the joke's on him. Totally would have been the other way around."
Her smile becomes a grin. "Anyway! I'm all checked out, got my clearances and everything updated, the whole deal. I'm sure Flatline will miss me--"
"No, I won't!" Flatline's indignant voice comes from off-screen. "And what did you do to the forcefield emitter for this quarantine cell?"
Cynosure turns her head towards her right. "Not my fault the security uplinks were so easy to hack!" She turns back towards the screen. "Where was I again? Oh yeah! Mistah M, I'm ready to serve again! And whoever's in charge of Intel, just let me know what you want me to do, and I'll get right on it! Byeeeeee!"

I met with this 'Lord Zarak'; he's a petulant fool who doles out information to the cunning, so a useful idiot he is. He seemed genuinely agog to find out other Decepticons were on planet and let slip that Thunderwing is on site somewhere. He has yet to give me access to the rogue scientist.
I am no fool, we cannot take Thunderwing lightly and must come in mass. If the paltry organics are impudent, we'll find him ourselves.

2026[]
Jan 03 - Aborted Vigilem Operation[]
To: Intelligence
Subj: Infiltration of Vigilem
MSG: Myself and Garboil were assigned to an infiltration of Vigilem to locate and destroy datatracts within Vigilem containing scans of Cybertron that would be used for the coming invasion. Upon the interior breach of security, myself and Garboil split up to take different paths for insertion.
Upon my entry I came upon the large spark extractor that Vigilem had used to pick up the sparks in the Hot Spot. Scans as best possible based primarily on visual and multi-spectrum sweeps were taken and files have been uploaded for review and analysis by research and development.
Further into the interior, I came upon a foundry being used to mass produce frames of a Thundercracker-based aerial unit. There was a separate line that was.. Taking the sparks harvested from the hot spot and inserting them into mass produced frames of a MTO style. This intelligence was considered more significant than the assigned objective. Mission was aborted and myself and Garboil went for emergency extraction to ensure this data was recovered. Said abort was made at my judgement as operational commander.
A majority of the sparks if not all of them have been put into frames and are likely fully functional given the MTO state. The.. Output of merely a single assembly line making clones speaks to a.. Significant underestimation of the ability of Vigilem to clone and construct more troops. I would hesitate to make an exact guess, but at a minimum they would have superior numbers than the Kaon garrison. They are capable of mass production of specialized, technically advanced combat chassises rather than mass produced drones. That along with the perhaps up to two hundred sparks taken from the Hot Spot is indicative of a significant increase in their numbers and ability to resist assault.
Data tracts have been encrypted and uploaded for analysis, and Garboil and myself stand by for debriefing.
- January 16 - "Initial Dispositions and Operational Intent" - Group Captain Valour establishes Nebulos as an autonomous Decepticon air theatre under his command, prioritizing strategic aerial dominance, disciplined attrition, and operational ambiguity while deploying Micromasters, Rainmakers, and Astrotrain to enforce control.
Jan 26 - Praxus[]
I have made contact with Praxus and they are far more willing to be rational in cooperation. We have a chance to secure the city quietly using the treaty for cover. Personnel will work out of the Aerie and be granted 'diplomatic citizenship and residence' within the city and Gunbarrel shall help their integration. Personnel assigned there will assist in the gradual takeover of the city's administration and institutions. Gunbarrel and the current leadership is willing to cooperate so we will take advantage of this.
This is to be done in /cooperation/ under association with Gunbarrel. We want the citizenship happy and willing to cooperate. Do not do anything to assault the citizenry or agitate them. We want to have our assets within their bureaucracy, defenses, and administration. Cyclonus, I want several diplomats and intelligence agents there within the solar cycle. There will be no announcements, no statements that the city is under our protection or that we appreciate their agreement. I want this done gradually, quietly, and as smoothly as possible. Use the treaty for cover and to stall any Autobot inquiries.
By the time they're aware of what we're up to, I expect us to be fully entrenched and established there, in charge of the city's bureaucracy and defenses, and them to be a Decepticon protectorate in all but name. It will be our dagger pointed at Iacon and gradually built up to replace Kalis while the Autobots are having to dig their way through the city. I want this done /quietly/ and /efficiently/ and the citizens to support us.
When this is done, Onslaught, I want you to review defense plans for integration of their sensor assets into our early warning network and build up the city's garrison. Floodlight, make sure you get all their records as quickly as possible and flag Autobot sympathizers to keep an optic on and for anything useful we can pickup in regards to operations near Iacon, particularly their starport.
This is to be an efficient transition. If you cannot go there without threatening someone or putting a blaster to their face, then you will be reassigned to something more fitting of your talents. Like doing a field evaluation of Iacon's defensive networks!

COMBATICON SPINNY
Feb 01 - Contact[]
I have made contact with the Nebulan Hive. They have agreed to share what informatio they have on Thunderwing and his activities. We will be using this to help pursue him. There is also potential down the line for.. Technological exchanges. Decepticons, do not treat them as hostile. If they are present seek to disengage and do not open fire on without being fired upon first, and if so do not escalate and attempt to withdraw at first possibility. Or you will be dissassembled for spare parts and given to Gutcruncher.
Feb 02 - Altihex Infiltration[]
Upon confirmation of the Neo-Cybertronian Empire sending an asset to Altihex, myself and Slipstream were assigned to pursue and monitor. Once within Altihex, the enemy unit had a specialized hacking remote that was used to access specific files within Altihex's computer systems. It knew what it was after and the system layout, which suggests substantial reconaissance was done ahead of the operation.
Targeted by the enemy were long range sensor logs, updated star charts, distant energon telemetry, charts of cosmic phenomenon and disturances, and prototype navigation and FTL theory in the laboratory and optic enhancement and monitoring systems. Much of the data was observational and theoretical in nature. Mathemaitcal proofs and concept proof of theorems. Strategically, I would assess them as pursuing data on more efficient interstellar transit and communications for the logistical benefits and coordination. And for future targets.
Myself and Slipstream inflicted moderate damage upon the enemy asset but they were able to disengage and flee with the collected data which we must presume will be promptly broadcast out via Vigilem to their assets in deep space. However.. Myself and Slipstream were able to copy the data as well and get base level access to the city's systems. To get outlines of their defenses, security, layout, and base ongoing research and laboratory functions.
The city's defenses are minimal and while it has acceptable security measures, it cannot stand a heavy assault nor are its defenses capable of holding back a seige. It presents a.. TEmpting target for a raid to seize the data and facilities intact. While I cannot speak of the usefulness of the data, it has been gathered and dispatched to Research and Development to evaluate and incorporate into ongoing projects.
the.. Computational data appears to include preliminary theorems for the short term creation of what I believe are projected wormholes. The initial theorems and mathematical concpts, at least. This might be useful in improving the efficiency of space bridge technology.
- February 12 - "Aerospace Strategic Assessment" - Group Captain Valour reports that the Decepticon Empire is strategically exploiting Autobot exhaustion by quietly annexing Praxus while simultaneously monitoring Vigilem’s mass-production of aerial clones and maintaining dominance on Nebulos despite escalating threats from Hive cyberkinesis and Thunderwing’s hybrids.
Feb 12 - Report on Cybertron[]
The glare of Onslaught fills the screen, as he lazes in a chair. "Cybertron's still been quiet since the Liege Maximo invasion. Neither force wants to push things too much, expecting the other two to capitalize. So keep buckled in for this... siege of three armies." He absently loads his pistol as he speaks, "Fortunately even the citystates have been quiet. Now would be a good time for someone to try to break free or defect, but the tension in the air is enough to keep their wits abound them before they get put against the wall. Now, we have an opportunity here in this still state."
Video shows a telescoping station orbiting Cybertron, "For you newcomers, this here is the Crystal Breaker. It's a mass driver that has changed hands during the war so much that nobody knows who actually built it. At full power, two or three good hits from it could break a cityshield and blow its main generators. It's a beautiful weapon of war." There's a flare of light as Onslaught lights a cygar and puffs from it once, "And the Combaticons have got it running. Modestly, but still, it'll fire once. And we have just the target."
The camera changes to Vigilem, "Even a Titan would be hard strained to survive a shot from that one. Problem is that the planetside array that is meant to guide it.... has been difficult to find." He fumbles over the failure a bit, "But crews are still searching for it.
