The Decepticon summer home.
The Polyhex Decepticon stronghold stands as a testament to the resilience of the Decepticon forces. Despite the catastrophic events that obliterated Darkmount and the original Decepticon Headquarters, Polyhex survived. The stronghold's strategic distance from Darkmount allowed it to avoid the same fate. Following the fall of Darkmount, the remnants of the Decepticon army retreated to Tarn. They then temporarily took refuge in the Jekka Amphitheatre in Tyrest, biding their time while the Constructicons worked tirelessly to restore the Polyhex stronghold.
History[]
Pre-MUX continuity[]
When Straxus was killed by Blaster in 1985, his head was brought to the Polyhex Decepticon stronghold with the intention of building him a new body. However, the interim Polyhex governor decided the project was too cost-prohibitive, and so Straxus's head remained in the stronghold in suspended animation.
MUX continuity[]
After the destruction of Darkmount, what was left of the Decepticon forces moved first to Tarn, and then to Jekka Amphitheatre in Tyrest, until the Constructicons had time to repair the Polyhex Decepticon stronghold.
Today, the Polyhex Decepticon stronghold serves as a critical base of operations for the Decepticons. It is a symbol of their enduring spirit and a bulwark against their adversaries. The stronghold’s fortifications have been reinforced, ensuring that it remains a formidable obstacle to any who would dare challenge the Decepticon’s might.
