Plumgaige was a Decepticon engineer. From his space station during the early war, he developed the Energon Rejuvenation matris to replenish Cybertron's power source. He intended to offer it, his life's work, to both sides to end the "pointless warmongering." it is unclear if he was able to do so before he was assassinated by Wetworks, the Autobot assassin.
