Ōbābaito are devoid of sentience, like all the Seaclones commanded by Turtler, serving only as mindless mass-produced drone warriors designed to overwhelm their opponents by numbers. Ōbābaito can use their lasers with a surgical precision unmatched amongst the Seaclone legions, deftly tearing open the bellies of ships, but their sharp super-hardened noses and teeth mean they can rip through them like torpedoes just as easily.
The Ōbābaito can combine with their fellow Seaclones to form King Poseidon.

In 2020, Devil Z took over the Seaclones that had been left on Earth.

- None of the Masterforce Seacon drones were ever depicted in robot mode in the cartoon or manga. The toy's package art is the only known "fictional" depiction of an Overbite in robot mode.
- Unlike all his fellow Seacons, Overbite did not appear in Zone fiction. Although the team was permanently combined as King Poseidon, the combiner did not wield Overbite in gun mode.
