Recruited from the highest ranks of Cobra's Viper Corps, the Cobra Ninja-Vipers are the elite representation of Cobra's new elevated level of ruthlessness. Only the most sinister and cunning Cobras are selected for duty as Ninja-Vipers. Cobra Ninja-Vipers are no less than 10th Level Black Belts in Karate, Jujitsu and Kung Fu. These villians are extremely obedient and always carry out their orders to the letter. The function as covert subversives who can "persuade" any foe to do their bidding by entrapping the individual in one of their patented martial arts maneuvers. If given the oppurtunity, Cobra Ninja-Vipers could wreck enough havoc worldwide to seriously damage G.I. Joe's global operations.

Although all Ninja-Vipers are specially trained by Storm Shadow and Aleph, they are neither accepted into the Arashikage clan nor the Night-Creepers. They are merely Cobra Vipers with ninja training, and Storm Shadow and Aleph are known to keep the best secrets to themselves.

Unlike most Viper types, Ninja-Vipers are NOT available as DCs. Because of the high stats required to be a Ninja-Viper, they need to be apped as full OCs.
Although all Ninja-Vipers are specially trained by Storm Shadow or Aleph (or one of their underlings), they are generally neither accepted into the Arashikage clan nor the Night-Creepers. They are merely Cobra Vipers with ninja training, and Storm Shadow and Aleph are known to keep the best secrets to themselves. Those few Ninja-Vipers who are accepted into the Arashikage clan are known as Red Ninja-Vipers.
