The Minnow was the second Junkion starship ever built. The first was the V'Ger.

- This vessel went nameless for over 20 years. It was retroactively called the Minnow in Transformers: The Complete Ark.
- If you haven't figured it out by now, the Minnow shares it name with the boat the characters from the TV show Gilligan's Island were on when a storm marooned them on a uncharted isle.
- Wreck-Gar introduces the Minnow with the line "new, improved Junkion planet is sleek, sexy import with turbo handling". This is a leftover from the early script in which the Junkions' planet was their spaceship.
