The Fallen
If the first Transformers were Primus’ disciples, then The Fallen was his Judas. It was said that at the dawn of time, he was Megatronus, one of a brotherhood of vastly powerful beings dedicated to the well-being of their world. But according to legend, The Fallen gained his infamous title by turning against his brother Primes and abandoning his purpose to pursue his own dark ambitions, earning the moniker "the first Decepticon" in the process. His terrifying form was believed to be a metal cage for primal, burning forces of chaos, giving him the appearance of a living furnace. These cauldron-like forces were said to have purged him of all empathy and morality, leaving behind only hatred and purest rage.
The Fallen was immensely powerful. His acolytes claimed he commanded mystic, entropic arts, and that when at full strength, he could unmake creation with his focused will. He was rarely defeated; at best, he was contained — waiting with eternal patience for the chance to unleash his dark powers once more. When his power reached its peak, it was said that The Fallen could open space bridges and travel between dimensions and realities at will.
Some claimed he was the originator of the Decepticons, the catalyst that inspired Megatron to seize power for himself rather than serve the greater good. While the exact details of his past were believed to be too complex for mortal understanding, two truths remained constant: he was bad news — and he was on fire.
History[]
Tank mode
This true history of The Fallen is lost in time, although it is said that he was one of Primus's original Thirteen Transformers.
Created by Primus to defend Cybertron against Unicron, Megatronus and Prima led the fight against Unicron and defeated him, becoming heroes in the process. However, after Unicron's defeat, the other members of the Thirteen wanted Megatronus to give up his primary weapon, the Requiem Blaster, created for Megatronus by his consort, the maker Solus Prime. A struggle ensued for the Blaster, and Solus was believed killed in the process. The other Thirteen blamed Megatronus and called it murder.
Disgraced, the name 'Megatronus' was nearly erased from history by Alpha Trion, and the former hero became referred to only as The Fallen, and even then, only in hushed tones by others who mistook his vision and formed the Cult of Unicron.
Megatronus
When the consumer goods robots revolted against the Quintessons in a rebellion that forced the aliens off the planet, the military hardware robots, now known as "Decepticons" and led by Megatronus, set their sights on conquering Cybertron for themselves. Two Autobot leaders fell during the war that ensued, and Sentinel Major inherited the Matrix of Leadership and became Sentinel Prime, leader of the Autobots.
Megatronus, however, proved too much for the succession of Primes, and Megatronus and his generals seemed on the brink of finally conquering Cybertron. However, during this time Megatronus uncovered evidence of the returned existence of Unicron and shifted his focus to preparing the planet to defend against to the Dark God. The Decepticon Generals, alarmed at this development, turned against Megatronus and trapped him in a subspace cell, taking over leadership of the Decepticons themselves.
MUX History[]
In 2017, Megatronus was freed from his interdimensional prison by cult leader Rartorata, with the help of Snaptrap's Seacons. The Fallen then had Snaptrap take him to the Disco Star, where he killed Big-Time and stole Evil, Inc.'s stash of dark energon.
The Fallen later created the Dark Spark and gave it to Snaptrap as payment for his assistance.
The Fallen was killed in 2019, sacrificing himself to save the life of Solus Prime.
In 2022, Acolytes of Unicron attempted to resurrect the Fallen but were stopped. Afterward, Solus Prime took his broken body and stored it in her Titan Bay, under heavy guards and traps.
