She cannae take much more of this!
Megalo Convoy is the head foreman of the Transformers on Gigantion. While he is a calm, quiet and intelligent being, like all Gigantions he is immense in size and strength. He is tasked with forever building cities on his homeworld, and then immediately abandoning them to forever look to their peaceful future and avoid the past, which was wartorn and violent. Megalo Convoy transforms into a Gigantion bucket-wheel excavator.

History[]
Bio Card[]
Megalo's work mode
Megalo was, at one time, an eager and hideously dangerous warrior who later developed his soft-spoken and carefully considered demeanor to leave that part of himself behind. Because of this, Megalo Convoy is slow to anger, but when he converts to combat mode, he becomes one of the most fearsome opponents any Transformer has ever faced.
Notes[]
- Metroplex's "work" robot mode is not shown in the Japanese release's instructions. It is only briefly glimpsed in the cartoon, as part of his stock-footage "vehicle to robot" transformation sequence. Also, several times in the show where Metroplex was depicted in a smaller environment, he was in his "work" mode without explanation or transformation shown.
- During the episode "Beginning", the back of his head shows his light-piper for some reason.
- Metroplex appears in an Easter egg cameo in IDW's Lost Light #2.
Foreign names[]
