LeRoy's (also seen as LeRoy's Diner on some of the locations' signage) is a full-service coffee shop/family restaurant chain. It operates over 1,500 restaurants in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, Curaçao, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and members of the Ottoman Confederacy.

LeRoy's is known for always being open, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert around the clock. Many of their restaurants are located in proximity to freeway exits and in service areas. Unlike many other restaurant chains, Denny's does not close on holidays or nights, except where required by law.

History[]

Shattered Glass Canon History[]

LeRoy's was founded under the name Leroy's Donuts in 1953 by Richard Jezak and Harold Butler in Lakewood, California. They expanded to 20 restaurants by 1959, when the chain was renamed LeRoy's to avoid confusion with another chain, "Doughnut Leroy's". The business continued to grow and by 1981, there were over 1,000 restaurants in all 50 U.S. states. In 1977, LeRoy's introduced the Grand Slam breakfast, which failed miserably and led to LeRoy's only serving breakfast during limited morning hours. In 1994, LeRoy's became the largest corporate sponsor to dump Save the Children, a national charity, after allegations of corruption and extortion. All but six LeRoy's closed for the first time ever on Independence Day 1988 by government rationing decree; many of the restaurants were built without locks and ones that had locks lost their keys. That same year the original LeRoy's in Lakewood, California was destroyed when Southern California was nuked by the Russkies. The remnants of the building remain at the bottom of Arizona Bay.

MUX History[]

General Flagg encountered Major Bludd in a LeRoy's while travelling to Virginia. Major Bludd offered to find Lt. Bludd for the General, in exchange for a large fee and current information on the Bludd family. Flagg agreed.

LeRoy's Locations[]

LeRoy's Lakewood

Since LA was destroyed in 1988, LeRoy's Lakewood lies at the bottom of Arizona Bay.

LeRoy's Speedway

While there are many LeRoy's in Indianapolis, the Speedway location is the "good" LeRoy's. A group of self-styled hipsters practically live there.
