Specialist Paquette; Specialist Dusty
DESERT TROOPER; Infantry

|“||If the enemy thinks they can hide in the desert, are they wrong! I can track them silently, then sneak up on them at the right time and pop a can of firefight!||”|
Specialist Paquette loves the desert, considering it "clean, pure and unforgiving" - and always full of challenges. The blistering heat during the day, the freezing cold at night, snakes, scorpions, sheet lightning, dust storms and gritty sand - none of those things bother Paquette. That's because, to him, the desert is his adopted home - every hot and sandy bit of it. He is fluent in the languages spoken in the desert regions around the world. He is trained to pilot the NIGHT RHINO and other AMPHIBIOUS FIGHTING VEHICLEs, and for quick, quiet night operations in the desert.
Jeffrey Paquette was working as a refrigerator and air conditioner repairman in his hometown of North Kingstown, RI, and studying desert ecology at night when his pre-enlistment application for G.I. Joe was approved.
He took basic at Fort Bliss in Texas and loved every minute of it.
Specialist Paquette joined the Joes in 2002.
Specialist Paquette sometimes uses the codename Dusty on missions that don't include the original Dusty, Ronald Tadur.
