It is not usual that a G.I. Joe's code name is an object of ridicule, but it's not something that bothers Ice-Cream Soldier. The enemy thinks it's a joke until he actually shows up in their doorstep and brandishes his combination flamethrower/rocket launcher. It's not only the enemy who makes fun of his code name, but it's something he doesn't mind as it lets everyone underestimate him. Then he gets to show them what he can really do.

Ice-Cream Soldier is the code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant Tom-Henry Ragan, born in Providence, Rhode Island. Ice-Cream Soldier joined the Joes in 1994. He served as "flamethrower commando" for the G.I. Joe team before it was shut down in 1994. In addition to his skills as a soldier, Ice Cream Soldier is also a barbecue chef.
MUX History:
Until recently, ICS, like many Joes, was a reserve member of the team. In 2021 he was assigned to domestic operations in the United States.
In 2024, Blowtorch, Charbroil, Ice Cream Soldier, and Blast-Off were added to ECO Force, and Deep-Six, Snowstorm, Barbecue, and Outback moved to ECO's reserves.
