As of 08/09/2022 (User:Bzero), Hydrax Spaceport is
The Hydrax spaceport was one of the glorious projects of the Golden Age of Cybertron. Bordering the Decepticon-occupied Badlands, it was of key importance, and the siege on it was the second engagement in the war. Decepticons marching from the newly conquered Fort Scyk to the east were held back by Ultra Magnus and the Wreckers, while Optimus Prime held off the southern advance in his first battle. But Hydrax was surrounded, with the Sea of Rust limiting Autobot support, and the Decepticons won.
In 2022, however, the Hydrax Spaceport is controlled by the Autobots, who allow neutrals unlimited usage on and off the planet.
In 2016 the Hydrax Spaceport was the scene of an attack by the Seacons, who stole the Junkion freighter Millennium Falcon. It was then the scene of another attack by Decepticons preventing the escape of neutrals, and then was further damaged by storms. It just can't catch a break.
In 2019, the Hydrax Spaceport was taken over by Decepticons completely. All neutral traffic was rerouted though the Central Spaceport in Ibex until 2020, when it, too, was taken over by Decepticons. Neutral traffic now is limited to the Seven Spaceports of Retoris.
In 2020, the Autobots staged two raids on Hydrax Spaceport. During the first they sabotaged the defenses, and during the second they blew up a Decepticon shuttle. Eventually, they completely liberated the spaceport from the Decepticons, and left a force there to encourage them not to come back.
- September 13 - "No Escape" - Neutrals are trying to flee Cybertron. Megatron wants them to stay. Shockwave's been sent to politely reason with them.
- July 20 - "Hydrax Recon" - The Autobots do a fast recon of the Decepticon-controlled Hydrax Spaceport and leave behind some surprises.
