Selena GreatHawk was always the wild child in her family. She would never stand for any answer, determined to find out for herself how things work. Possessing an odd view of the world, she left home as soon as she could to make her way in it. Enjoying life to its fullest she has never hesitated to suddenly change her goals. One ever remains constant, however: To return to her home what it gave to her, life. In her pursuits she has ranged far and wide, her well-honed ability to notice things about her surroundings being a bonus in many of her fields of employ, from environmental terrorist, to exotic dancer, to aide de Camp, to a member of the EDC. She tolerates Cybertronians, as part of her life's work she's come to terms with them now being a part of her planet even if she doesn't like them in a general sense and won't hesitate to use full force to take one down whenever possible. As a last legacy of her own world's invasion by another's, she possesses and is part of a relic of yet another world: Power armor. Unlike an external suit, this is part of her body, controlled by nanotech, cybertech, and accessed through subspace, a last 'gift' from a dying scientist. An experienced scout and diplomatic agent, she's known for her smile and charm, and her quickness to defend her charges.
History[]
Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History[]
Selena Llwyll was an environmental activist (terrorist) that put herself through school through 'dancing'. While between jobs, she found herself targeted by a random Decepticon (Ratbat in her world) that ate her car. She attempted to offer her services to the Autobots but was rebuffed and ignored after she aided them with a stake out.
Finding herself between work again, she fell in with an alt-u human group devoted to destroying their age-old enemies as well as the 'infestation' of Cybertronians. She worked her way up as a 'normal human' to Aide de Camp to the warlord and maintained that position until they returned to their own home.
Diplomacy wasn't her strong suit when she started out but years of work in maintaining relations between the various earth groups and mechanicals gave her the skills to shift to the EDC when she was once again jobless. While she was there, there were a handful of those alternate humans who remained in her world. William GreatHawk, whom she eventually married, and a scientist, who performed the surgical work on her to give her the last of that technology, their uniquely designed Powered Armor.
She formed a good working relationship with Nate Briar over the years, and when he was working on his warp technology she was there, curious. And protecting him as she owed his brother a few favors. When it tipped, she forced her suit out and tried to snare him back, ending up pulled through with him away from their dying reality. She took her husband's call-sign in tribute to him after his passing in their own war against the Decepticons.
MUX History[]
Greathawk arrived the same day that Nate did. However, he does not know at first that she was pulled through with him nor did he know her whereabouts. Greathawk was captured by Dire Wraiths in Russia, but was eventually released by a combined G.I. Joe/Cobra force. She has since contracted for G.I. Joe and become romantically involved with Kamakura.
In 2024, Greathawk helped defend Hi-Q's secret base from the Hive, before having to retreat before the newly revealed power of Scorponok.
OOC Notes[]
Greathawk spent the first year of her being on this earth in the hands of a science lab.

Jul 08 - Report Brief[]
Got to love quick report forms...
Name: GreatHawk, Selena 'Greathawk'
Date: July 8, 2023
Reporting OBO: MacBride, Cooper, G. 'Low-Light'
The Incident:
Location of Incident: Newton, NJ
Type of Incident: x With Injury x Civilian area x Casualties
Property Damage: x
Describe the Incident:
Greathawk reporting on behalf of Low-Light. Wisp, an EMT team and I were activated and went to Jersey to collect Low-Light. From the notes I have been able to collect, he and a team had been assigned out there due to rumors of Cobra activity. I went ahead and started the paperwork on the two KIA and okayed an authorization for them to be routed to a local mil-hospital for holding so Command can consult final documents after a quick talk with Scarlett while she had a break in her comm silence. Low-Light has been returned to the pit and remanded to the custody of the on-duty medical team. Morphine was administered before take-off due to the nature of his injuries. Wisp got us there and back again in short order, mid-flight re-fueling went off without a hitch.
Injuries: x
Injury notation: Low-Light took at least a shot from someone across his back. I'll have to leave details to the medical team as he wasn't forthcoming.
Medical note: (Left open for medical report)

2024 - 02 - 21
Arashikage Sen,
For someone that’s over 100, you don’t look a day over 50.
I know things.
Things I probably should not know.
Like serpents these others memories twist and loop. Good thing I’m certified in meditation or else they’d look at me with more pity than they already do. I don’t need pity
Are there really only seven silent forms? That is an interesting number. But 8 is sacred, not just lucky.
Yatagarasu. Amaterasu. Truth hidden behind fables, stories. But which is which?
I am still trying to learn from the outside, dreams can’t be trusted, no matter who the memories came from.
I hope all is well. The cherries are blooming again.

March 14 - RE: EDC[]
To: General Flagg
From: Greathawk
Subject: EDC
Comms between the planets are a lil delayed, just got this. Haven’t met an Arcana yet but we’re getting them dug back in before we hop back Earth-side.
EDC? I’d be honored to help found that, sir.
As for armor, I miss it like someone’s miss an arm but with the other things happening, think my medic’s prefer I get my head on straight before trying to sync up with new equipment. I don’t know how much here is turfed up the chain but I had a run-in with Cobras brain-scramble-thingie. Nothing I can send through comms for security reasons but I give Lifeline, Dr. Steen, full permission to reports what’s happening an’ what we’re doin about it.
Have to cut this short, we’re moving again, hoping’ I can convince this Lori to come back with us. She’d be a good EDC addition as has non-human experience.
