The Great War is a term used to describe the Autobot/Decepticon conflict. In the Great War, Autobots wage their battles to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons.
It is also known as the Third Cybertronian War.
It was preceded by the Golden Age of Cybertron.
The Transformers cartoon[]
The Great War is known by some chroniclers of Cybertronian history as the Third Cybertronian War. It was during a time of peace known as the Golden Age of Cybertron that Megatron re-organized the Decepticons for the purpose of challenging the Autobots for control of Cybertron.
