Elita One is the cool, calm, and collected co-leader of the Autobots. After four million years of leading the campaign against the Decepticons on Cybertron, Elita One is tough, courageous, and charismatic. She wouldn't think twice about sacrificing herself for the good of the cause, but she prefers to let her foes do the dying. After millennia of covert operations, Elita One still prefers silent hand-to-hand combat over noisy laser-fire, but when it is needed, she packs a powerful punch in the form of an advanced heavy laser pistol. She is a genius in the field of tactics and guerrilla warfare, and is a powerful foe when faced one-on-one. She commands absolute loyalty from her troops, and is an inspiring commander in battle.

Nine million years ago, during the Golden Age of Cybertron, there lived a robot named Ariel, a dockworker with a boyfriend called Orion Pax. She had heard stories that the new "flying robots" that Orion and their friend Dion admired had put together an army and attacked one of Cybertron's outer cities, but Dion laughingly dismissed her as gullible while Orion remarked that they had Guardian robots to protect them, so that it wasn't of their concern.

One of those "flying robots," Megatron, with his transport drones, raided the energy storage facility at which Ariel worked. While Megatron was in the midst of an assault on Orion, Ariel tried to stop him, ignoring Dion's plea not to, only to be gunned down herself by Megatron.

Fortunately for her, the time-lost Aerialbots brought the deactivated Orion to Alpha Trion for repairs, who recreated the young robot as the first of Cybertron's new defenders — Optimus Prime. Optimus and the Aerialbots then asked Alpha Trion to try reconstructing Ariel too. After agreeing to send some droids for her, Alpha Trion mused to himself that "Elita One" would be a good name for a female warrior.

Five million years later, Elita One, wanting to go with Optimus, tried to board the Autobot starship as it took off on its mission to search for energy, but she was seemingly destroyed while the ship was attacked during takeoff.

Note: In the original pilot, the Ark did not appear to be under attack as it launched. The Ark being attacked and Elita One's presence as it took off constitutes a retcon.

But Elita One did not perish. And from the time since Optimus' disappearance (along with other senior Autobot leaders), Elita One, along with Ultra Magnus, took over various leadership roles within the Autobots to fill the Autobot leadership vacuum. While Ultra Magnus focused on a more centralized command structure, Elita One tended to employ more guerilla tactics to combat the superior firepower possessed by the Decepticons. About four million years after Optimus' disappearance, she was in command of a team of six Autobots, who had been raiding Shockwave's energon supplies in secret for an unknown length of time. Their existence was revealed thanks to Moonracer's carelessness, which subsequently led to Elita One's capture by Starscream and the destruction of their secret base by Rumble.

Elita was then used as bait to lure Optimus Prime into a trap, where he too was captured and was soon on the block for execution in a vat of acid. Desperate to save her beloved, Elita triggered her time-stopping power, which allowed her to save Prime... but expended nearly all her life-force doing so.

After getting them both out of Decepticon Headquarters, Optimus was able to track Alpha Trion to his secret base. The ancient Autobot repaired Elita to the best of his ability, but revealed to Optimus Prime that only he could save Elita by interfacing to her with his power filter. An astonished Optimus Prime stated that only his CREATOR could know that!

Note: Optimus Prime had apparently forgotten that Alpha Trion is his creator. He did seem to know that Alpha Trion created Elita One, making a subtle comment when Elita said that Alpha Trion was like a father to her, though it's unclear whether he had always known or only realized after his visit to Alpha Trion. Which is really kind of creepy when you think about it.


After Elita One was re-energized, she and Optimus Prime arrived in time to save both a group of Earth-stationed Autobots, who had followed Optimus to Cybertron, and Elita's own troops from certain death at the hands of the Decepticons. Notably, Elita shot Shockwave out of the air with a single blast from her pistol.

With their original secret base in ruins, Alpha Trion quickly set Elita's team up with a new one, full of advanced equipment.

Though regretful that they'd be apart again so soon, Elita One elected to stay behind on Cybertron and continue the fight at home while Optimus and the other Autobots returned to the war on Earth. Of course, this didn't prevent her from telling him not to stay away TOO long...

MUX History:[]

Elita One usually leads the resistance on Cybertron while Optimus Prime leads the troops on Earth, unless she is called to Earth to assist him. In 2011 she traveled to Cybertron to assist Alpha Trion in the hidden Temple of Knowledge.

In 2012, following the flood, Crosscut was present during an attack on a Canadian oil pipeline, where he successfully kept Scourge busy while Elita One rescued oil workers.

In 2015, Elita One was the chief prosecutor in Jetfire's trial. During the trial, she laid out a damning case, accusing Jetfire of conspiring to kill Prowl, Optimus Prime, and Jazz. Arguing against Judge Tyrest, the jurors eventually found Jetfire not guilty (but not innocent) of the crime. Moments later, Jetfire was entirely exonerated when Megatron stormed the courtroom, and began targeting any Autobot in his gun site. During the rampage, Megatron said he made sure the evidence was there to make it look like Jetfire was responsible to prove to Jetfire the Autobots would never see himself as an equal in their ranks.

In 2016, Arcee, Elita One, Kup, Optimus Prime, and Swish traveled to Dread, where they destroyed Megatron's death crystal cannon and freed the Dread Slaves, cutting off the Decepticons' source of death crystals.

In 2019, Elita One saved Optimus Prime's life during their combat against the Fallen.

After Optimus Prime was nearly killed by Primus Pilus Megatron in 2022 and lost the Matrix, Elita One was forced to take full command of the Autobots.

Apr 17 - Battle Plans[]

Subject : Cybertron Course of Action

Knowing that Castle Decepticon hasn't the supplies needed to sustain it for long, given that most of the supplies within the Castle itself were ours, I have sketched out a battle plan with the assistance of the Female Autobots and Fireflight. Ours is a three prong assault, at the discretion of AHC.

Assuming that supplies will be shipped via ground to Castle Decepticon, we engineer a way to capture the convoy intact. After proper reconnaisance of the layout between Fort Scyk and Castle Decepticon, we engineer the debris of Helex or the supporting roads to encourage the Decepticons to use tunnel access to approach Helex. Most obvious routes are Tunnel 33-A, Causeway 231, and Shaft Stanix/Helex.

Any sign of Octane or Astrotrain on Cybertron renders this plan null and void, report sightings immediately.

Two Autobot teams are deployed, one to Fort Scyk itself, the other to intercept the convoy. When the convoy is captured, both teams converge on Fort Scyk for Take and Hold. As most of the Decepticon forces are shoring up Castle Decepticon, this plan suggests a less forward approach to retaking the Castle itself. NOTE: If Seeker patrols are numerous before this operation, a secondary force is suggested to draw their fire. Dinobots or Superion are both good measures, depending on what is available.

May 19 - In regards to the filmworks...[]

Elita One appears on screen as several dozen explosions roar across the landscape behind her. Those who look closely can see a man dancing among the pyrotechnics. Her smoky voice overrides the concussive sound after a few moments. "Cuffs Optimus and myself just did some basic stuntwork for one of the humans here outside Los Angeles. Although I would've prefered something to separate us from the necessity of violence; it was considered a worthwhile endeavor to fund the Autobot sponsored 'Cybertron United relief fund' for reconstruction of areas damaged by Decepticon attacks. Due to some careless...directing a few on-set actors were put at light risk however Cuffs and Optimus both went out of their way to ensure their safety"

A police car roars across a pot-hole filled landscape, as menacing music plays in the background. "CONSUME, DESTROY, EAT THE FLESHBAGS!" In the next shot, a human with about fifteen guns raises a squad tactical weapon towards the police car, bellowing out, "You ate my family, you monster!" Footage shows Cuffs with a few people on his hood, the people are screaming as a slow motion low angle shot has 'Cuffs' yell out "HUMANS...THEY ARE DELICIOUS!" The camera pans off screen before some bad mechanical chewing sounds are heard, with screams of terror.
A mostly-blurred out Elita One is shown with her weapon up, "Let's destroy these cute humans, hee hee, I'm a girl!" She then...walks backwards as if the tape was being rewound, only to have an explosion suddenly backwards erupt around her, to emphasize her destruction.
Most shots of Optimus are mostly partially on-screen as he's quite renowned and harder to mess up.
At the end, in large capital letters the movie title is announced.
GO-BOTS: LEGEND OF THE TRUTH OF THE PERSON.
The screen flicks back to Elita One. She waits an astrosecond, recoiling at the character assassination, before saying. "Get me Junket and Docket in our legal department. We need to stop this from happening."

Jun 09 - AAR: Trench Warfare[]

Subject : AAR: Trench Warfare

Slingshot, Patches, and myself spearheaded the ambush on the Decepticon convoy in the tunnel connecting Stanix and Helex. Three transports were laiden with munitions, accompanied by a white Seeker identified as Coldsnap, and Razorclaw in the lead. I engaged Razorclaw, as Slingshot responded against Coldsnap. Slingshot was incapacitated, leading to Patches engaging the Seeker, despite primary function being Medical. One transport was destroyed during the volatile fighting, leading to Razorclaw emerging from the smoking inferno. He was last seen plummetting into the depths of Cybertron. One transport was frozen, enabling only a partial recovery of goods, as some of the munitions were deemed unusuable, leading to scrapping. In total, we netted a loss in the exchange, losing approximately 9 tons of munitions net from the altercation at Castle Decepticon to now. We'll have to make do with what we can until extra supplies can be produced.

Elita One appears on screen. "For those of you who plan on participating in the 'YoRo' our war game simulation with the GI JOE forces. I'd like to get suggestions on what sort of rewards we should administer upon victory. Currently my thoughts are that if they win we'll convert one or two of their vehicles to run on Energon. Though it is still a scarcity a single vehicle won't drain our supply much as its not Cybertronian. If we win I believe we have a bot or two who may feel like a new upgraded altmode. Perhaps scanning one of the GI JOE's favored vehicles would suffice. Thoughts?"

Elita One looks over the initial footage Springer has supplied, a look of concentration on her faceplate. "We cannot allow such willful slavery to continue. However without proper intel about the situation and the overall objective we may end up hurting the situation with a bold assault. I believe we may need to respond with subterfuge. Slip a low-priority Autobot or two into the midst to gather close-up recon. Then we establish a proper assault after the situation has been evaluated."

Elita One sits with a studied gaze forward as she considers the possibilities. "Silent Grill is a dangerous terrible place. The fact that it lies within Helex is in my mind a blessing. Helex does still have personell to deploy against us but the idea of handing them a Titan even if it is one that lays dormant if not dead... I fear that if we do not secure things properly Helex and the Decepticons at large will gain a great boon from this."

She looks offscreen for a few moments, "We need more information on this Titan. Anything to help understand the situation further. I cannot in good conscience declare war upon them nor open up diplomatic channels. There are far too many of them to be dealt with if recent reports are indeed accurate. However there must be reasons they haven't been more of a threat to Helex in general. We know they raid and loot on occasion but if they truly number in the thousands the cultists have a full on fighting force to work with. I suggest to Optimus that we send in a reconnaissance team to investigate Silent Grill further... and to have evac standing by in case things turn sour. We simply need more information before we can manage a proper response."

Elita One appears on screen, standing before the partial layout of a complex. Her words are low and husky as always, "Not many sweeps ago an Autobot infiltration team stumbled across a potential doomsday scenario for Cybertron. while investigating the ruined city of Silent Grill."

A display shows what has been identified of the city, a labrynthian nightmare of architecture. "It was discovered that beneath Silent Grill is a lake of Dead Energon. Energon that has gone stale from lack of use...also known disdainfully as Corpse Energon as to how it is generally retrieved. Reports are claiming that the inhabitants of Silent Grill have harvested this from the fallen of this brutal six-eon war. though this cannot be verified. It was also discovered by the team that this sea is being pumped back into Cybertron. Recently it has been hypothesized what the intent is of this action."
Footage shows a hydraulic pump in action. "Most transfer valves are empowered by the flow of energon they pump in a simple conduit action similar to our own systems. While Dead Energon is enough to activate the pump systems. forcing it to work. and spread the liquid it is not sustainable and will cause the system to fail within a sweep. This action once concluded will destroy all the internal workings of our planet since the Great Shutdown irreparably." Her words hang in the air. "We also believe that this Dead Energon is being transferred to several holding tanks as we speak for greatest effect. While we know the method of destruction Silent Grill is still an enigma to the Cybertronian forces above. We know that they are a collection of Unicron cultists...possibly in relation to the Galvatron cultists previously that their leader Dal Matia is a dangerous foe capable of teleportation and that several...nightmarish inhabitants of our planet call it home. It is due to this reason that we must learn more about the cultists and their plans. Therefore we will capture one of the more sapient cultists. exfiltrate it outside of the city's protection and extract information. As such I am putting together a team to deal with the situation at hand. Good hunting Autobots. Our planet needs us."

THE FINALE OF DEATHKNELL, Part 1.
  • July 29 - "Deathknell: Dead Run" - PART TWO OF THE DEATHKNELL FINALE. Dal Matia's at her strongest in Silent Grill, and has legions of zombies, dark science, horrific guardians, and a dead Cityformer. The combined Cybertronian forces have... well, they can turn into cars, so that's cool I guess....It is a game of HOT POTATO as the boss battle rages on... not that Death itself could stop Dal Matia's wrath.

2017[]

Mar 22 - AAR: Iacon[]

AUTOBOT SPINNY

Iacon is displayed, parts of it smoking, weapons being refurbished, the injured being moved under Ratchet's watchful optic. The scene is labor intensive, full of debris and detritus.

The scene shifts to Elita One, in the field. "Late yesterday, the Decepticons made a play to push us off of Cybertron. We had suspected something was afoot when Blaster had started to detect unusual comm chatter. We had thought they were battle plans."

Footage shows Blaster bursting into the Decagon control room. The footage switches to the massive meteorite that was used to colony drop Iacon. The Meteorite moves.

"It was then that we had learned that the meteor drop Megatron delivered was but a feint, for from within its core emerged the dread beast, Trypticon."

Trypticon is shown emerging, roaring, defiant, his weapony powering up.

"I took command of the organized resistance as the Decagon, and Iacon Medical were evacuated."

Footage shows of Trypticon's slow, plodding pace as he approached the city.

"Trypticon broke through all three of Iacon's defensive shields, our weaponry failed, the mighty warp cannons were damaged in the siege's assault, and had to be battlefield repaired.

Footage shows of Lodestone sitting in the targetting array for the massive gravity gun.

"The ground crew worked to provide as much focused fire as they could, but more importantly worked out two plans to slow the monster as I worked to provide support and munitions."

Dust Devil is shown planting mines, Imager is unloading energon. Bishop motions to a specific spot. Encore is seen behind Trypticon, angling around as he lights up the Cityformer with his cannons.

"Encore made a hole in Trypticon's hull, near his transformation cog. The idea was to force it to modeshift him, and then compromise him from within before he could do further damage. When Trypticon was provided unstable footing, Bumblebee took a quantum warhead into the hole."

Bumblebee is shown doing exactly that, stumbling atop the giant as he falls over. The Great Dome is seen taking heavy gunfire from the prone beast.

"He detonated the warhead, Encore evacuated he and Bishop, who had organized the tripping tactic, using thermal mines."

"Together the Autobots managed to force his cog to altmode. Secondary forces were sent inside to force Trypticon into stasis.

The footage shows Elita One again.. and as it pans out, she stands before the city that is Trypticon, within Iacon!

"And we have gained a powerful defensive bastion against the Decepticons. Trypticon will serve to replace what he has destroyed. Already his long range weaponry has been used to push back the initial siege. I estimate the Decepticons will break within the week. Maintain vigilance, Autobots. We will be free soon enough."

The results are in. In a sparring battle, after months of tactical analysis between both sides in cooperation to oppose the Decepticon threats, here are the results.

The Autobots conceded the field after the GI Joe forces repelled our aerial tactics. They've adapted well to basic Decepticon raiding. Field artillery/anti-air pieces were sufficient. Leadership was efficient.

Recommendations: Focus on transitional/modular weaponry for human forces to help respond quickly to transformative tactics. IE: Anti-Air shifting to artillery settings. Minelaying/missile transference ability. Recommendation for heavier anti-armor weaponry on mobile base platform.

The next YoRo must consider a stronger opposition than a raiding party, to ensure humanity is up to the task, however, significant improvement has been made, and congratulations are heartily given towards GI Joe forces.

The Autobots request, as per terms of our bet, that one of our forces be allowed to scan a ground vehicle of his choice, for alternative mode retrofit.

2018[]

Jul 15 - Orders on Valvolux[]

Elita One appears on screen, "Before I move into directions for Valvolux' unique situation. I would like to express my deepest concern for my steadfast commander Chromia and the efforts she had made in defense of Windblade. While we still do not know the entirety of the situation and the fact that I may not be able to visit her for some time. I would like to thank Iacon Medical's staff for their personal care and attention to my comrade in arms. She is forever in my thoughts until she is returned to my side."

"Now as for Valvolux. We have learned that there is a mysterious 'cube' that has been rumored to talk to Primus. This rumor was part of the underground sortie that recently had been debriefed. While the actual merits of this box are unknown at the moment we know that Bulwark has this item in question. AND we know that a creature that refers to itself as an emissary of the Fallen himself also has an interest in it. As there is a great deal of information unknown about this situation. I am tasking Encore with a mission to assemble a team to investigate any of the great libraries of Cybertron. While knowledge of the First Age is mostly destroyed I feel that with Cybertron's reboot that we may have fresh opportunities for information. I also am planning to discuss this situation further with Bulwark himself to garner what this device is. Its value to the Fallen. And such. I am considering asking him permission to scan and identify all the relics found in the Cathedral of Solus Prime though not retrieval of such items as Imager had noted that he wished for all items to stay as such. I suggest this as an added way to garner more insight into the First Age and possibly the Fallen himself if such a thing comes to pass."

September 3 - "Nemesis Shows His Face"[]

After being missing for a year or more, Nemesis suddenly shows up at Valvolux's gate.

Sep 16 - An appearance by Nemesis[]

While Valvolux was being withdrawn from, Nemesis showed himself, eager to talk. He knew a lot of the current situation. Claimed that this item of Bulwark's, the communication device meant to speak to a sort of Oracle, was also a prison, and that there may still be someone in that prison.

Noted that the Fallen is attacking Unicron's heralds, and given Nemesis' role, he expects to be assaulted. He has requested that we avoid Tyger Pax, as he intends to either lure, fight, or outright kill the Fallen in the area. Given his implications, he expects to die in the attack, despite my attempts to convince him otherwise.

He also noted that another figure, named Incognito, will come in contact eventually, and that he knows more about this prison. I've never heard of him, but right now, I feel we need to know everything we can.

November 7 - "Valvolux Briefing"[]

The screen flicks on, and the correspondent reads as Elita One, but the femme visible is different. Favoring a dusky pink hue, her frame is more dimensional, her doors and wheels up behind her shoulders, her faceplate surrounded by her 'crown' instead of molded together. The theme is dusky pink and grey. "Hello Autobots, I've been returned to active duty. It was necessary to have a frame reformat due to the Fallen's attack, but rest assured, I am as capable as always. My thanks, specifically, to Scales for her retrieval of me during my...helpless moment, Dust Devil, and to the entire Medical staff that had quite the conundrum ahead of them. Now that I am back on the roster, there are a few programs I wish to press forward on. Some of you already know of what I speak. I'll contact you if you're a part of it. Elita One, Out."

2019[]

Nov 19 - AAR: Iacon[]

Elita One appears on screen, there's a flurry of activity behind her. Operations crews, evaluations being performed. Elita One addresses the camera, "Iacon was attacked while the shield was being temporarily projected by our force-field capable Autobots. Trailbreaker was on duty at the time when the Decepticon Warship, the Pillager, approached and assaulted. The city was not fully operational since the Fallen's attack, and we could not easily repel them from afar. "
"A heavily armored drop pod was launched, as part of a Hunt and Kill tactic favored by the Cons when city hunting. The idea was to emit a powerful generator shield that trapped everyone inside it, denying reinforcements and escape, and the Cons brought everyone they could to the fight. Lugnut, Deathsaurus, Overlord, Blast Off, and Megatron himself. I arrived in Iacon too late. However, this did not turn out to be the potential tragedy that it could have been, for Fortress Maximus was within the shield generator. Our stalwart ally Spike Witwicky and Bumblebee helped transform the Fortress, while the assembled Bots in the area, Kodiak, Starlock, and Dust Devil assembled underneath Commander Chromia's leadership and guidance. Deathsaurus was quickly incapacitated mid-combat, by unknown forces. With him temporarily neutralized, Fortress Maximus was able to transform fully, and start turning the tide. After Starlock had brought down the generator, I joined the fight as well. I want to commend the bravery of Dust Devil and Starlock for engaging with the enemy commander, and doing so with only minor repercussions. You do us proud, Bots."
She pauses for a moment, and there's a soft warmth in her voice, "One more thing. As it turns out, Deathsaurus was crippled from within by an ally that we had thought passed...."

The camera pans over to the figure of Saber, aka Star Saber. The smaller mech gives a nod of his head. "Fellow Autobots, your courage under fire and camaraderie have been an inspiration for us all. We must all rise to meet the expectations you have set." He raises a fist in salute.

Elita One continues, "Grapple and Operations have assured me that Iacon will be back to fully functional shortly, so this tactic won't be used again in the near future. Within only a short span, we had managed to remove the Fallen, and drive back an armada of the Decepticon's most dangerous in Iacon... We are better together, we always will be." She looks aside to Star Saber, who raises his fist again. She raises her fist towards him, the two arms crossing. "Stay strong, Autobots."

2020[]

  • 1/3 - "Asking For An Incident" - A fight between breaks out between Imager and Soundwave, and spills out of control when Starlock tries to stop it, and get them to talk civilly.

I have been informed through the Intelligence community that there is strange activity involving Trypticon. Reports indicate that Trypticon is in the process of leaving the Decepticon faction. Reasons as of yet are undetermined.

Oct 31 - Manganese Mountains[]

Sideswipe and I met Deathsaurus out on the mountain range again. As he did not immediately engage, I questioned his motives, while he was interested in the Dweller virus cure. He showed no reaction to any probing of having a Decepticon or Destron base in the area, nor any hidden city of Beastformers. I honestly think its become mere happenstance that we've met up in these mountain ranges. The first few skirmishes just happened to be there, and now we're both at the point where we both suspect the other side is up to something up there. As such, I'm altering our patrol patterns to give the area a wider berth. If something comes up that suggests otherwise, we'll look into it.

Nov 05 - Marching Orders 11-5[]

AUTOBOT SPINNY

Elita One appears onscreen. "As we're currently experiencing another short lull in ground fighting, I'd like to see some objectives accomplished. I'll leave to you all how to decide how to accomplish these goals. Department Heads are naturally in command of their decision making processes, when they see fit to intervene."

I need:

- Reconnaissance of Kalis: Be mindful of the radiation levels there, but the Decepticon combiner teams assaulted that area, and it wasn't for no reason. I want to know what's going on there.

-Prophesy: I'm not one to take prophetic words lightly, no matter what they say, and especially in regards to the Dweller.

- Cure Distribution: I need to ensure the neutral populace of Cybertron has none of the same contaminants that we've discovered. Simfur is a remote city in the south. Chances are good it has no specific issues there, but we need to ensure we eliminate this problem.

Hydrax Spaceport: Our only current hot-zone is Hydrax. The denial of outside supplies will give us a logistical advantage, and Dust Devil's been wanting to hijack a ship from the spaceport. But do recall that Megatron's Fist, the 151st is on site, as well as Aerospace Commander Valour. Recon was spotted at last altercation, be very careful.

- Retoris and Valvolux: I hope to hammer out a deal with Valvolux in the near future regarding spaceport usage. We've netted some lucrative trade options with Crystal State Technologies for Energon. This could be a massive benefit for us, so we know Decepticon agents will be on site shortly. The requests here are two fold: Keep close watch on Retoris for sabotage, and consider any potential goods to be traded. I know we're not a mercantile army, but the added supplies are going to help revitalize several of our cities.

- Energon Efficiency- Our energon efficiency has improved since pre-war, due to necessity, but Caminus has far, far more advanced tech on this. Anything we can get to help retrofit our cities, production facilities, and supplies will ensure that we can run leaner when necessary, and avoid any future shortage issues.

"Metalhawk, if the Decepticons have a new warship, there's a reason for it. Just as important as where it is, is its function. If its a mobile weapon, we need to know. Same if its a transport. Intelligence, let us know what you need to push this objective."
"Dust Devil, we've got plans to launch an assault on Hydrax shortly. We'll be testing those code defenses, and putting those weapon schematics to use. You'll be heading in with a team to help retrieve that shuttle. If its got weapons, depending on the situation, we may need that radar tower downed. Also, I cannot stress this enough. You may need to use your forcefields more prominently."
"Medical, I'm seeing what we can do for a stronger escort next time. If Trans-Organics are involved, we've got to ensure you've got the firepower to ward them off. Interesting to see the Decepticons sending adjuncts, but be wary of them taking samples or trying to tame these wretches. Maybe they'll figure out that our planet needs all our care. Perhaps."
"Autobots are encouraged to travel with a partner when near the Metal Plains, or the Manganese Mountains, to help ward off potential Decepticon kidnappings. Thank you, Sideswipe."
"Operations. With Retoris becoming our link to the outside galaxy, we need to focus on survivability and sustainability. Inventors and engineers, you've had to make hard cutbacks and choices without plentiful energon. Let's put that to use. I want to see if we can lessen our cityshield energon consumption by fifteen percent by end of the astroyear, but not at the loss of integrity. We have a golden moment here, we cannot squander it."
"Has anyone any thoughts about how to approach any of the issues I mentioned earlier? I trust there are several experts out there who have withheld their ideas at the moment, but I ask you come forward. Tell me what you think would work for these situations, and we'll make arrangements"

Dec 01 - Re: Ideas[]

Hmmm, Valour spent astroweeks trying to track down Upshot, only to have him rescued for evac before they could capture. His visual presence there as part of the main tactical could be an asset.
I've yet to fully read the report on Kalis, but if there's an outright infestation of techno-organics, that's one extra problem we'd have with taking the area. Might also be part of the impact of the radiation that was there until lately. We need to tighten recon about Kalis, to keep vigilance against heavy weapon assaults. I'm authorizing the construction of a new sensor base in the area. Firebase Overwatch. Operations, Recon. Find me a good point for it. I want heavy radar-dampening equipment there to avoid pickup.
As for the cure transport, I'm not as concerned about the Decepticons there specifically, but the vulnerability of the needed transport into a wilder region of Cybertron merits concern. If one of our survival agents wants to lead the escort, we might be able to do so without a heavy military force.

Elita One considers some of the options before her. "The signal scrambler cannon? It has merit. I imagine it may need some unique parts to get into the right transmission style. It's non-lethal too so instead of bombing the starport to pieces like what generally happens, so actual usage of the starport comes in quicker when we take it. Its going to be a target though. I want Operations thoughts on the other protective measures in the area. Our resources are doing better of late, I think we can reinforce Ibex more, it'd be good to advance our terrain capability again. We've been pushed back a lot of late, and we dare not tread on neutral territory too long. So be it."

"Its a new idea, this scrambler cannon, lets get a prototype worked up, and test it out before we go so far as to build the full deal. Thank you, Jazz. Elita One out."

Jan 20 - Re: Medical                    []

Elita One is on screen, considering the report. "Salvage may always be a part of our resource acquisition. The planet's played the role of a verifiable scrapyard for an eon or three....I believe that we can also be more efficient though. We've been brokering a trade deal with Valvolux, to give them rights to use the Retoris port for their manufacturing needs. Valvolux' manufacturing capabilities are quite possibly the finest the planet has, next to the Assemblae Cybertronae itself. Dust Devil, either you, Crosscut, or myself need to barter for associated medical supplies there. Whatever trade time that Valvolux requests for the trade, shall be granted up to a six month span. We have trading partners, Autobots, lets use them." BIG PINK OUT

May 14 - RP ideas and orders[]

MEMO TO INTELLIGENCE
Due to the constant fielding of Decepticon heavy hitters of late, the task of city liberation is being pushed to the intelligence community, ie: the Covert Action Team. After careful discussion with several of our more analytical minds and operatives, it is clear that we need more intelligence overall before we attempt any repatriation attempts.

Hydrax Spaceport, a target in its own right, has a security exploit left in it by a recon team in the area beforehand. Note: Megatron's Fist AKA the 501st artillery batallion was stationed there. The initial team activity will be to glean information from the Hydrax main comms array, and shunt data where we can analyze it. That mission will be assembled in the near future.

Springer has been authorized to assemble a team of Wreckers to launch destructive raids upon the Decepticon strongholds/outposts. Any operatives joining these assaults are automatically and fully underneath Springer's command for the duration of the operation, myself included.

May 17 - Briefcase Findings[]

Memo to Intel: Regarding Courier Briefcase.

The briefcase had a detonation charge in it that took time to disarm. Within was not a datapack as expected, but a blank spacegate key. For those of you not in the know, those big ring spacegates you may see, such as the newest one constructed that connects Earth to Cybertron, requires passcodes for use. This object is not faction-tied, and can open the gate one time for any ship. What is puzzling is that the Decepticons already have full access to this gate, so it was most likely meant for another party, unless there's a stronger rift in the Decepticons than we thought.

Jun 28 - RE: CAT Mission[]

Elita One appears on screen. "The Covert Action Team did swimmingly in its newest mission, and has my thanks. We'll have to strike at Hydrax sooner rather than later. Springer, do you think the Wreckers are a good fit to reclaim the spaceport? Either way, I'd like to find a way to sabotage the poorly-named 'Megatron's Fist' batallion. Get them off-site or incapacitated. I'll accept suggestions on this front."

Jul 11 - C.A.T. Mission - The 501st[]

Hydrax Spaceport was a full success, despite the lack of initial network access. Data gathered from it has been very useful so far, and are updating much of our analysis team. Many thanks to all of the essential datacrunchers for their assistance. It is clear though that at the moment, Hydrax is not takeable. So we're going to start another operation there to change that. Megatron's Fist needs removed from the field of battle.

The C.A.T. has twofold orders:

1: Create a series of trap and ambush sites to waylay or remove the 501st from battle.
2: Develop a battle plan as part of this lure with the goal to assassinate the Decepticon Commander of the 501st. Valour.

Until any actual peace accord is reached, we must stay vigilant and ready for enemy action, and progress on the war effort. As it stands, the Decepticons have little reason to sue for peace. The more territory we take, the more likely we can make these peace talks more earnest.

Jul 27 - RE: Hydrax Setup[]

"The Covert Action Team has prepped for the assault on Hydrax. We've got a lure set up, and once triggered, we expect a significant amount of the 501st to investigate. Once they're out of the way, we'll launch the assault. Chromia, I need you to start prepping military for Hydrax. Keep in mind we have the targetting solutions for the anti-air weaponry there, so it should be much easier to anticipate until it updates. We need the central comms tower intact if possible. Objective is to TAKE AND HOLD. Let me know if anything is needed."

Aug 12 - Hydrax Spaceport[]

A somber Elita One studies the backdrop of Hydrax. She says to the camera after a moment, dramatic as always. "After several assaults, Hydrax Spaceport has been removed from Decepticon clutches. The Covert Action Team came through in the assist, and the military came through in the assault. Now, as always Operations and Medical have their parts. This spaceport has been long fought for, but the free peoples of Cybertron are more than just the Autobots. If the world is truly changing, we will have to endeavor to work with, and live with all the factions and unaligned citizens and civilians of our home planet. We must be vigilant, and brave, in our actions. Peace...true peace would demand nothing less."

Nov 07 - Re: Ultrix[]

Elita One sits behind a desk, her hands crossed before her. "Ultrix has become the latest in a long line of unnecessary tragedies. Another attempt at civilization falls when some force demands not even city occupation, but destruction. Autobots..." Her words are firm, and patient, "We must be prepared for our ceasefire, tenuous as it is, to come to an end soon. Anguish leads to frustration leads to violence. We have been at each others throats for millenia, there will be those that lash out. Due to that, I'm reactivating standard military roles. No strikes or assaults will be authorized, but patrols and city defense will be once again returned to their standard levels."

"While it may be possible it will not come to this, we cannot afford to be caught off guard. While we will conduct our own investigation, any member of intelligence involved may end up being targeted by outraged Decepticons. We're going to have to stay at arms length. Maybe...maybe a miracle will happen, and this will not grow into an angry, malevolent war machine as it has in the past...but we have to be ready to stand against it, if it does."

2022[]

May 16 - Assuming Command[]

       Elita One appears on screen, her hands folded together, her words are cool and practiced. "Autobot forces, do not fear. I have temporarily assumed control of the faction, due to recent incidents. As of this time, I cannot confirm much of the current situation regarding Optimus, but let it be known that Primus Pilus and his faction have reassumed the harsh mantle of war. Whether or not Starscream and his faction have, is yet to be determined. For now, we must assume Kaon and most non-Seeker Decepticons to be hostiles. Starscream's faction of Seekers and the like must be treated with utmost caution. He may strike out on his own, and continue negotiations, or he may be brought back into the fold. We've had one solitary astroyear of peace, my Autobots, it is a pity that we could not enjoy it for a million more, but such is the way of things. Military and Intelligence operations against Pilus' faction are considered approved. Intelligence operations, we need to know more about Primus Pilus, and his motives, but tread lightly, he's out to make an impression."

       The camera pans back from Elita One revealing Star Saber standing next to her. The large mech gestures to the camera, "Noble Autobots, my presence is once again on Cybertron, in an effort to help support our forces, and those of the Neutrally aligned. When a commander is incapacitated, all others must rise up and work together with greater harmony, with greater purpose. We have lived in a world of peace for a short time, let us internalize that life, and strive to make it a permanent reality."
  • May 23 - "I am Veritas Prime" - Veritas runs into a pair of Autobots, then Elita One, then one of Pilus' Predators. A day in the life of a newly minted Prime. Also, don't threaten The Rollout Bar.

Jul 06 - Autobot Orders: Tyrest[]

At the risk of drawing a close to the Decepticon Civil War, we've amassed what we can in terms of fortification, supplies, and mechpower. Our initial target will be the city to our southwest, Tyrest. Tyrest, like Kalis, is quite close to Iacon and Retoris, and has been largely ignored by the latest goings on. Tyrest has a large barracks that can be of great use, as it was a former seat of power. More importantly, though, are the numbers of still enslaved Cybertronians that we may yet free.

INSTRUCTIONS FOLLOW:

Create a forward base to observe the actions of Tyrest. Do not reveal it to the enemy at any cost. If supplies are caught in mid transport and survive the altercation, they must not continue forward to the firebase.

Start intelligence gathering upon the city. If Jazz approves it, covert operations may push further than basic observation.

We should draw attention elsewhere, and let our foes misdirect their forces. The city of Tesarus has also been largely ignored of late and would also be a strategic important city. Commence raids and skirmishes upon the area. Operations may also create anti-air fortifications, to promote an eventual siege. We have the resources to do it, so let us go forth.

Ibex is on the other side of Tyrest. The garrison there is strong, but it needs drilling. Commence war games, scouting patrols, and/or recreation exercises, but stay consistent with the activities. Ibex must not seem too aggressive, if anything, it should be predictable in how it operates for now, to avoid undue attention.

Aug 09 - Update to Orders[]

Elita One is in the war room, looking over the latest recon as she speaks. "We have an opportunity, Autobots. Intelligence reports a great deal of the Decepticon army holds a siege on Vos. It looks like Starscream's situation has reached a flashpoint. As such, our diversionary assault on Tesarus may as well become a real one. I need Operations to go at a moment's notice for when the city defenders are chastened, with the standard emphasis on fortification and artillery. Simultaneously, or within a short span of time depending on the assault, we move on Tyrest as well. These cities will surely redraw attention upon us, but to delay would mean it would cost lives in any prolonged engagement. Prepare for take-and-hold, Autobots."

Aug 17 - Tesarus: Battle Plans[]

       Elita One narrates the basic strategy for the taking of Tesarus. "Riposte has a good plan, we're going with it. Here's the basics."

A triangle is brought up at the Autobot artillery position. "Team One will launch artillery in another harassing maneuver as before. The Decepticons have been hit with it before, they've got to be getting frustrated. Be very careful upon choice of siege weapons, we don't want to collapse any of the tunnels that we'll be needing."


Another triangle appears below the first and progresses forward to the city. "Team Two will use the tunnels discovered and created to infiltrate the city. Team Two will be mostly operations with a military escort. The idea is to essentially take the city center behind their backs."

The purple triangle intersects with team one. "When Decepticons approach, use anti-air siege only on any fliers, and meet the ground in the field, to buy time for Team Two to change access codes. In order for this to work, we need a strong presence and enough harassment fire to angry them up. They most likely don't have a standing garrison at the moment, which is why this plan has good potential."

Victory condition - "If the Decepticons are driven from the field, Operations should have the doors either recoded, jammed, or otherwise unopened, and the Military attachment will have commandeered the city defenses to discourage any fliers over the wall. Team One is to help drive the Cons from the field and secure the medbay for any of the injured."

Retreat condition ; "If the Decepticon forces are overwhelming, Team One will instigate a retreat, buying Team Two time to withdraw towards Valvolux. Keep in mind this is a sovereign citystate, and do not bring conflict to Illarion's door."

Aug 18 - Re: Tesarus[]

Excellent work to Grimlock's assault team, to capture the city, as well as Joist's operations team. Tesarus is a shadow of its former self, but its inhabitants are as fond of it as many of our own is as fond of Harmonex. Keep that close to your sparks as you patrol it. There are many there that will protest, and jeer our 'occupation'. We can work on that, but to do so we cannot do so with empty promises. Treat Tesarus with a gentle hand and accept that we may never truly hold the city. Let them protest, let them throw stones. The challenge here is of the spirit, not the field.

Subject : Regarding Sanctuarium et al


First, let me say that I would hope that someone would have actively sought me out upon the start of this debacle, but perhaps that's a failing on my part. Very well. Let it be clear that this issue is of a great importance and worry. For those not currently informed, but within Intelligence, and other high-ranking members of the Autobots, Soundwave has been critically injured and requested sanctuary here, along with Veritas Prime. They are currently housed within Fortress Maximus, who is still in stasis.

Provided Soundwave agrees with the demands listed, he may be allowed to recover. Sanctuarium is to be given to non-combatants, and our history with him has been anything but. We must trust to verify. That said, we cannot/shall not lessen their dignity by treating them in any condition worse than needed. Currently, there will be no intel interrogations, nor debriefings for either subject.

I do want the two to be removed from Fortress Maximus due to the contamination issues currently being experienced there, but this will not be able to happen anytime soon.

Now, given our long, long history with the Intel Commander, we must be on guard regardless. Veritas Prime must have an escort as before, Soundwave will likely remain immobile for some time. Signal jamming must be enforced within Soundwave's presence. We shall deal with other matters as they arise.


Personal memo to Blaster: For this period of time, I will ask you not to visit Soundwave. If you have need of him, please see me first. I recognize how dangerous he is, but it would be poor form to flaunt his adversary as he asks for safety.

Dec 22 - Nightbird[]

Nightbird attacked me in Protihex last cycle. She's been put in stasis, and is to be moved to secure, remote quarters. Security, keep in mind that Nightbird can teleport, has many hidden weapons, and is extremely dangerous. She is a zealot for the cause, and if the rumors are true, has no vocalizer. Interrogation may as well be useless, but depriving Megatron of his top assassin is a worthy enough cause. We need high-level stasis treatments and security for her.

Jan 21 - re: Jazz[]

I can answer a few of these questions, but medical will have to fill in on others.

Nightbird is in stasis currently, but we are investigating other methods of confinement, In-stasis holding for a prolonged time can lead to issues that we're not willing to expose, even to Decepticons. However, since Nightbird has these unusual upgrades you've mentioned, including mild forms of reconstruction and teleportation, we have yet to locate a safe way of examining her.

The Hot Spots may not have moved. When Cybertron rebooted a few astroyears ago, several plates moved on the planet, opening and closing several locations, as well as moving Iacon to its current location. It could be that whatever manifested the hot spots is closer to the core of the planet, and projected them upward, or it could be something else entirely.

As for the Sleeping Sickness, it's claiming more of our forces, and yet we are unsure as to what is causing it. I'm reaching out to off-planet sources to investigate the situation further.

According to preliminary analysis, these vines in Helex were bandwidth cables of some sort. Their intent was unclear, but as it stands, Helex's ruins seem to be clear of the cult now.

RE: the small tribble-like creatures. I can only hope not.

Soundwave has an extremely high likelihood of being on earth.

Elita One appears on screen, she's in motion in the Decagon again, pulling another 'West Wing' discussion. In a mildly amused tone, she looks towards the camera, "I've been cleared from medical to return to active roster, and while it cost me some repair work, Chromia's given me back command of the forces. I'm already getting back into the loop." She turns to off screen, "Speaking of, Docket, where's that intel re..." A file comes up from below her, off screen, She opens the datapad, and looks back to the screen, "Stay safe, Autobots; with Megatron's recent moves, we'll be seeing him soon, I am sure. Let's use this time wisely. Elita One out."

Jan 28 - Raid on Earth[]

A fleet of drones were coordinated by Shockwave as he assaulted a local low-quality shipping hub. I engaged him, but with civilians nearby, I couldn't manage more than a standstill with him. He used a high-density EMP charge and fled with his goods. Damage to the warehouse seems high, but thankfully there was no loss of life.

Feb 18 - The Fallow Fields[]

As we near the anniversary of the Fallow Fields, I encourage all Autobots on Cybertron to consider taking some time to remember the event. For those of you who are just returning, the Fallow Fields was once a hot spot on planet, that before the Great Shutdown, was hotly contested land....All hot spots were. Whomever had the troops could field more troops of course. Over a seventeen week engagement, the Autobot forces stubbornly refused to give ground. In his rage, Megatron ordered thousands of copper rods to puncture the entire area.

This destroyed all the new life on the site, and as it turned out, destroyed the hot spot itself. The Fields remain as a reminder of the fragility of life, and how we must all take steps to promote our future, for all the lives that will come after ours.
