CAPT. GEARS is a technological genius. His first big invention came when he helped bring Robo-JOE to life by integrating human muscles and brainwaves with robotic battle armor and computer circuitry. This process led to the development of power fighter units that operate as extension of the pilot’s own body, only with a lot more firepower and combat capabilities. This technological breakthrough earned CAPT. GEARS a place in the National Inventors Hall of Fame, as well as a place on Cobra’s top-ten hit list.

CAPT. GEARS is a mad technological genius. His horrific experiments integrating human muscles and brainwaves with robotic battle armor and computer circuitry crippled dozens of servicemen before he achieved success. This process did lead to the development of power fighter units that operate as extension of the pilot's own body, only with a lot more firepower and combat capabilities, which President Colton determined was an end worth the means. This technological breakthrough earned CAPT. GEARS a place in the National Inventors Hall of Fame, as well as carte blanche power to explore any avenues of research he chooses.
