  • When asked if Esmeral was married to General Deathsaurus, Jesse Wittenrich answered that Esmeral is "too busy saving the whales of Pequod to bother with a hubby!"[1] A similar response was given at the Deviantart page for Around Cybertron #6, where Wittenrich elaborated that Deathsaurus and Esmeral "had a fling, but Deathsaurus when[sic] into the military and Esmeral went into activism. Perhaps one day their paths will reconvene, but currently neither spends much time thinking of the other."[2]
  • Esmeral's coloration is drawn from the Brave figure Red Geist, who was a redeco of the original Deathsaurus.
