Cannon History[]
Heavily-armed assault helicopters used by the G.I. Joe team. The Dragonfly XH-1 served the Joe team for many years, primarily while being piloted by Wild Bill. The copter carried a two-man crew, and was armed with a varying payload of Sidewinder missles, anti-tank rockets, and powerful machine guns. Aside from combat missions, the Dragonfly served as a rescue copter and occasionally ferried Hawk back and forth between Joe headquarters and the Pentagon. The copters participated in some of the Joes' biggest operations, including the Battle of Springfield.
MUX History[]
In 2009, the Dragonfly began to be phased out in favor of the upgraded Dragonhawk XH1.
2020 Dragonfly
In 2020, however, a new generation of Dragonflies were upgraded and reintroduced to the battlefield.
