Colombia base

In 2006, Cobra built a small base in a valley in the Andes Mountains in Colombia. The base is surrounded by a thick wall topped with razorwire, and is additionally guarded by sentries and tanks. It has been a fully functioning base for well over a year, with a modern airstrip, permanent troop housing, and even a parade deck, though this has seen infrequent use.

G.I. Joe learned the base's location when hunting for Mara, who had been taken prisoner by Cobra. In October of 2008 the Joes staged a covert infiltration of the base, as well as a smash-and-grab rescue when the infiltrators were discovered.

In February of 2009 Cobra lured the Joes into staging a full-scale invasion of the base. Once the Joes were in place, Cobra pulled out and destroyed the base, killing most of the Joes' support force.

March 24 - "Too Human" - Major Bludd hands the mindswapped Vector Four over to the medical staff at Colombia base for care.
May 5 - "Android Flight" - Major Bludd confronts Over Kill as the android attempts to flee the Colombia base.
May 19 - "Summit of the Seconds" - Lt Stark converses with Vector Six about the status of their respective commanders.
September 18 - "A Chat in Medical" - A few Cobra characters discuss life, aging, and puffins in Cobra's medical center.
October 13 - "Scanner Discussions" - Major Bludd discusses the Brainwave Scanner with Dr. Mindbender. Baroness and Major Bludd discuss the past, the present, and the Brainwave Scanner.
October 18 - "The End of Angela" Over Kill and Pennington decide to ensure Angela, the previous Over Kill version killed in a fight with Major Bludd, stays dead.
October 18 - "Sort of Angela's Wake" - After disposing of Angela, Major Bludd and Over Kill celebrate, sort of.
October 27 - "Kimber's Date with the Brainwave Scanner" - Tired of the Holograms' stalling over their holographic technology, Major Bludd decides enough is enough and schedules Kimber to be put into the dreaded Brainwave Scanner.
October 30 - "Holograms Returned" - Cobra techs verify the authenticity of the holographic projectors Rio gave Major Bludd. The Major wastes no time in returning the Holograms to their manager.
November 18 - "Out From Undercover" - Major Bludd unexpectedly discovers a pair of GI Joes lurking undercover on the Colombia base.

February 26 - "Colombia Invasion" - Cobra's newly established base in Colombia faces a multi-pronged invasion by G.I. Joe, who manage to penetrate the base and engage Cobra forces in fierce close quarters combat despite Cobra's elaborate trap.
