CAPT. GEARS is a mad technological genius. His horrific experiments integrating human muscles and brainwaves with robotic battle armor and computer circuitry crippled dozens of servicemen before he achieved success. This process did lead to the development of power fighter units that operate as extension of the pilot's own body, only with a lot more firepower and combat capabilities, which President Colton determined was an end worth the means. This technological breakthrough earned CAPT. GEARS a place in the National Inventors Hall of Fame, as well as carte blanche power to explore any avenues of research he chooses.

MUX History:
CAPT. GEARS is an active member of G.I. Joe, based out of the Burpleson Air Force Base and working on new inventions in between missions.
In 2011 he was tapped to assist getting a captured alien shuttle up and running for transport and study.
