The primary weapon of the C.A.T. is the 130mm anti-armor cannon which is capable of firing up to 80 rounds. Originally, it was up to 105 but anti-armor technology has improved since then and concessions have to be made when the new rounds made the C.A.T. reach up to 65 tons in weight fully loaded. The secondary weapon is the .50 caliber machine gun with 1,500 rounds of ammunition. The engine enables the C.A.T. to reach 60mph on an open road and 45mph on cross-country travel.[1][2]

The Crimson Attack Tank was built by Cobra to counter the MOBAT. It is based on reverse engineering and stolen designs for the the Joe tank. The CAT was revamped and redeployed in 2003 as the CAT II, piloted by the Crimson Guard Immortals.
Variants[]
The C.A.T. (Crimson Attack Tank) was based on the G.I. Joe MOBAT. It was later upgraded as the C.A.T. II, incorporating elements of the Chieftain tank.
