Two Mini-Cons sit at an appropriately sized table in the Ballad Bar in New Harmonex. One of them leans back and carefully drinks his Dire Nightfall, its green and pink bubbling together as he sips. Finally, he says quietly, “So, you heard what Veritas claimed during her fight with Tyrest, right? Do you think it’s true?” he asks casually, as if just making conversation. He watches his companion carefully, however, over the edge of his container of mixed engex.
“Veritas -- wha', the barkeep?” The first Mini-Con’s friend asks, voice slurred from one too many Secret Mechas. “I heard tell she said she was a PRIME. Can nah be right, though. Fer one thing, she's nah a prat. Fer another, why would a Prime be workin' as a barkeep? Wouldna she…
A swooping camera shot shows blowing desert dunes, with a few lone figures out amongst the silica sands in construction modes trying to clear a path through the mounting drifts. A voiceover states, “Even now, cyberweeks after the Great Altihex Storm, clean up continues. Gusty winds left sand and debris covering the only route north between Altihex and Tyger Pax, halting technological exchange between Altihex’s Deep-space research facilities and scientists in Tyger Pax’s growing experimental technology community.” The camera zooms in on a sign reading, ‘Welcome to Altihex,’ half-buried in sand.
The image shifts to a shot of the low Helex skyline from the ground level, the roof of the familiar Power Base fractured in the background. In the…
Ratchet appears in a Secure Meeting Room in Fortress Maximus. His optics are dim, and his mouth, when he’s not talking, is a grim tight line across his face. “First of all, as Starlock just brought to my attention, apparently Chief Justice Tyrest has gone completely off his rocker, to use an Earth medical term. He seems to think only HE has the wisdom to lead Cybertron and is prepared to sentence to death anyone who gets in his way.
“We MUST keep Orion safe. Ironhide, I know I’m not the boss of you, but I feel like your personal protection of Orion is more important now than ever. Half my team left with fraggin’ *Sideways*, so we’re really understaffed now, at the worst possible time. I know – I’m ALWAYS saying it’s the worst possible …
Floodlight appears in the Cradle, wearing the stylized purple symbol of the new generation of Decepticons under Primus Pilus Megatron. She’s wearing a helmet over her large head, into which are plugged several cables from the ceiling of the Cradle. Her optics are covered by the helmet, but her voice is strong and aware, if still a little high-pitched for someone in Decepticon Command.
“First, I would like to say to Commander Shockwave that the medical team at Fort Syck is *remarkably* subpar. If Stanix is laid waste, it might be beneficial to simply close the entire fort and redirect its resources elsewhere – preferably with some new training. However, if we do plan to take Stanix from this reemerged Honeytrap, then we might need to be…
RP note - this coincides with a recent phenomena related to Jem and the Holograms - but as of right now, the writer of said blog post is unaware of this.*
I'm wiped out today. I think these 16-18 hour shifts have finally caught up with me. Like if you're working really hard, and you've been working hard for a long time, and you know you can keep going, you can keep pushing yourself, but the moment someone takes you out of your 'zone' - you're hosed.
I took a break in repairing Optimus Prime's body because Doc needed to do another follow-up on me with the "binary bonding" thing with Fortress Maximus and Cerebros. The last few times I talked to her, she's been super cool. Inquisitive, thoughtful. But today, it was all business. And apparently,…

Subject: Mass Teleportation
I’ve been working closely with Dr. Laszlo Vandermeer since his
recovery and delivery to the Pit. Sure enough, Cobra’s
distance teleportation device, which they call MASS, was based on
Dr. Vandermeer’s stolen research. It took some convincing,
but Dr. Vandermeer has agreed to help us create our own MASS device
to help counter Cobra’s. There is a minor complication in the fact
that the MASS device requires three rare substances to work –
radioactive crystals, heavy water, and crushed metallic ore.
Luckily for us, Dr. Vandermeer has a fairly good idea where
to get them.
The first substance, radioactive crystals, can be found in the Sea of Ice in the Arctic. Dr. Van…
Cyclonus appears from the Cradle in Kolkular. His face and deep voice are calm and clear. “This is Cyclonus,” he identifies himself. “Trusted Decepticon and second in command of Decepticon Intelligence. I can confirm Nightshade’s statement – I travelled to the Hub’s command world myself and verified much of what is included in her report.
“Primus Pilus IS Megatron,” Cyclonus states flatly. “He made an alliance with an offshoot Decepticon faction, as is his right. In return, they gave him a new body, and troops to command. His command within their army does not dilute the fact that he is undisputedly the Emperor of this Decepticon Domain and had returned to lead us to final victory.
“Starscream, you have served as regent in Emperor Meg…
Snare stands outside one of the traditional Decepticon gladiatorial arenas. His neon red armour is damaged, but his voice sounds pleased as he gives his report. “Snare of the Predators reporting from Kaon. I took some detailed scans of the Toraxxis Mega-Refinery last cycle, gathering all the data we need should we decide to capture or destroy the Autobots’ primary source of energon on Cybertron.
“While there, I engaged with some Autobots. While easily defeated, they did show a bit of style, determination, and ingenuity, so I let them live. Maybe next time they’ll present more of a challenge. I also encountered the most fascinating femme.” He projects an image of Veritas Prime. “She scared me! I haven’t felt fear in a long, long ti…
Sideways’ seldom-seen dark visage appears in a low-lit recording made in an undisclosed location. Most have never heard him speak, and even now, filing a transmission, his voice is low and earnest. “Optimus Prime defeated. The Matrix lost. The Ceasefire broken. Cybertron in chaos.
“It is time for the reign of Primes to end. The Autobots need new direction, free from mystical guidance from some ancient artifact. Efficiency through self-sufficiency. A new generation of Autobots, following their own path. Join me for a new future, rather than endlessly repeat the past.”
The transmission ends, but a new, stylized Autobot logo replaces the old – yellow, outlined in red. Rejecting the brand the Quintessons used to distinguish their consume…
Ratchet appears in a location unknown to most Autobots. It’s a medical center, but not one in Iacon. The old medic looks tired, and he frowns as he makes his report. “Well, so much for the ceasefire,” he grumbles. “We received a report that someone was snoopin’ around the Toraxxis Mega-Refinery, and Hot Rod volunteered ta go check it out.
“He got ambushed by a Decepticon, calls himself ‘Snare.’ Dust Devil’ll know more. Trashed him badly. I brought him to Valvolux, because I didn’t want to risk travellin’ all th’ way back ta Iacon with injured. We’ll move him once he’s out of immediate medical danger. I’ll stay with him myself for now.”
Ratchet’s frown deepens. “If th’ Cons aren’t respectin’ the ceasefire,” he says, “We gotta be a lo…
“Hey. Did you hear what happened to Lt. Moore?”
“You know I try to keep my head down and out of officer politics. But, OK, What?”
“Found burned to death in his own quarters. HAD to be an inside job. And, from the method and skill used in the combustion, it had to be his own Shock-Vipers.”
“Jesus! Was he that unpopular? I guess I could see us Alley-Vipers doing that to Gristle, but not so much now that Barghest is in charge. He at least seems competent.”
“Well, all I can say is, sometimes being promoted isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I think I’ll take a page from your book and try to keep to the background.”
“Kept me alive this long....”

“Did you hear about the weird shit going on in Donbas?”
“I know, right? I hear the fighting is terrible.”
“I don’t just mean the regular fighting – have you heard about the plant fights?”
“Yeah. From the way my friend Natasha tells it, occasionally, living vines will reach out from underground and just SUCK our troops down into the sewers.”
“No way. I think you’ve had too much vodka.”
“I’m serious! But THEN, last week, this OTHER giant plant exploded out of a building, and started killing Russian soldiers left and right! It even ATE some of them!"
“OK. That’s enough. Bartender, nothing but water from not on for my friend Nastya here.”
“I swear! Natalya wouldn’t lie...”

Fly-Up leans against the bar at the Hole-In-The-Wall, sipping a Steely Priest G&T. He stares into the beverage. “Sparkride,” he says at last. “Have you noticed the glowing orbs starting to pop up in the Pious Pools?” he asks softly. “Do you think it means anything?”
The smaller Autobot looks up at Fly-Up, a frown dimming his golden face. “I’d imagine it has something to do with the rebirth of Cybertron and is something we will need to protect.” He downs the rest of his own drink, and sighs. “We’d better report it to Fire Chief, although I’ll bet he’s already aware.”
“If we are, he is,” Fly-Up agrees, “but I’m sure we’ll be needed, nonetheless. Should we call in Streetstar and Safety?” He finishes his own drink, setting the container …
The CBC logo spins and is replaced by a soaring view from high in the thin atmosphere of Cybertron. Below, the landscape is blackened and ruined, still smoking from recent fires smoldering within pools of molten metal run red. In the distance, the Manganese Mountains just begin to rise, giving an idea of the film’s location to those who know the area.
For those who don’t, a pleasant female voice begins to narrate. “For Megavorns, this valley has been the location of Stanix, a land of fine wines and a unique culture of art and dance. Captured early during the most recent phase of the Autobot/Decepticon war, the Decepticons built a base, established a governor, and moved on. Life continued much as it had before the war, with Stanix spar…

Even before Cobra’s high-jacking of Fort Knox and the United States Bullion Depository, inflation was on America’s mind. Google searches were up. News articles were published. Even The Onion got in on the action last year, warning that thanks to rising prices, Americans might have to eat “reasonable portions” at Thanksgiving.
All of that went into hyperdrive, however, once Cobra struck. Demonstrating unheard of new power, terrorist leader Cobra Commander demonstrated that with a word, he could plummet any country he liked into instant financial ruin. While the United States has continued limping along, since it no longer actually relies on the gold standard, the warning is clear: Surrender to Cobra, or find y…
Circuit stands on Cybertron, Trypticon’s battle station looming in the distance. In his bright, smooth voice, he reports, “This is Circuit, reporting for the Iacon Communication Service. I’m standing in Tri-Torus, where Trypticon has recently been moved from beneath the towering edifice of Darkmount to a more central location, out of Polyhex proper and midway between there and Petrohex. Why has the Decepticon battlestation moved? Are the Decepticons trying to expand their territory again? ICS wants to know!”
The image changes to that of a recording of a tall femme standing in a nearby spot. A caption beneath her reads, BANSHEE, DECEPTICON CITYSPEAKER. "Polyhex is a well-defended location with sufficient infrastructure to support a Ti…
Valour sits in his office in Vos. His left arm looks slightly newer than his right, although both have been recently cleaned and polished. His crimson optics are dark, and his frown is deep. “Stanix is lost to the usurper,” Valour begins without preamble, “And Helex is no doubt next. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to locate Thunderwatch or the Triumverate.”
“Despite what I’m sure is an excellent analysis by Floodlight, I simply cannot yet know this Primus Pilus is not under the control of another. This is not about a lack of trust in Emperor Megatron and his capacity to make alliances – this decision is made knowing the many forms of mind control out there and how often our troops and even leaders have been affected.

Lindsey Pierce appears on her M2 News show, but the perky commentator has significantly changed her attitude and look. Cobra Commander has somehow stolen the United States Bullion Depository
Snakecoin jumped more than 17% in late April following several reports that Cobra Commander had stolen Fort Knox and the United States Bullion Depository, which is used to house a substantial portion of the United States' official gold reserves.
The Cobra token SNAKUSD, -3.89% gained 14% over 24 hours, trading at around $0.15, according to CoinDesk data. It climbed to about 80% of its all-time high in May 2021.
Bitcoin BTCUSD, -0.71% was trading 0.02% lower to around $39,407.
Snakecoin supporters are hoping that Cobra Commander, the long-time backer for the Cobra-themed token, could boost its usage if he takes over Earth’s financial resources.
On April 9, Cobra Com…
Ratchet appears in his lab. His white armor is smudged with grease, and his optics are dim. However, his voice is as chipper as the old mech gets as he reports, “Well, thanks to the help of Signal Flare and Starlock, I’ve got the GroundBridge ready for extended testing.” He steps back from the camera to reveal his prototype, which looks held together with bailing wire and hope.
“Right now, I need volunteers to help me reach various test points across the planet – they’ll have to travel overland to get there with a receiver, and then I’ll open a bridge to them. If it works, and if they’re brave, I can bring them home with the GroundBridge.” Ratchet laughs. “Otherwise, you’ll welcome to drive back if you don’t trust the tech yet,” Ratchet s…

Crosscut sits in his office, a hologram of Twin City sparkling behind him. His face is masked as usual, but his voice is direct and down to business. “Autobots, Optimus Prime assigned me to help with the refugee crisis, and I mean to do just that. How we treat our displaced former enemies will show the world our character, and of course, it’s also the right thing to do.”
“Emirate Xaaron, I’d like to talk to you about the possibility of transferring some refugees to Retoris. The Free Trade Zone is officially neutral, is it not? Could some of the displaced merchants set up there? Could some of the workers be given visas to temporarily to work in the Industrial Sector? Obviously, security will be a factor, but I’m in discussions with Iro…
Floodlight sits in the Cradle in Kolkular, her mind attached to the ceiling through a dozen data conduits. Her optics are distant, but her voice is strong and assertive. Without preamble, she announces, “I have completed my analysis on all data related to Primus Pilus Megatron, and I don’t require Shockwave’s return to confirm my conclusion: Primus Pilus IS Megatron, without a doubt.”
Floodlight’s face remains neutral but resolute. “Personal conduct, historical knowledge, voice inflection, kinetic behaviors, psychological profile – all point to this being our Megatron, albeit in a new body. As to those who express concerns about Primus Pilus Megatron’s new alliances: remember, HE is our leader. He decides with whom he shall ally, and thro…
Destro appears in a recording that looks like it was made on a high-end cell phone, appearing more like a viral TikTok than an official Cobra report. Destro is wearing purple shades over a gold version of his clan mask. His animal-print collar can be seen in the shot, as well as the actual leopard skin draped over his shoulder. His voice is deep and smooth, and his work at smoothing out his Midland Valley accent is paying off.
“Commander,” Destro begins, sounding a little like his father. “I have delivered several more Invaders and Stilettos to Red Wolf, as ordered. If you wish, I will have my pilots take them up to the Solar Serpent for faster deployment, unless you wish me to leave them here for Dark Matter to use to train future pi…
I'm still at the GI Joe base of operations. The "official" rule on high, straight from Duke, is that I, or I should say, my family has been cleared of any involvement with Cobra, and that I have not been compromised.
If anyone in the future is reading this, here's the story. In 2011, Megan was born prematurely. She was raced into the pediatric ICU. Carly was OK, but obviously upset, worried, and fearful of Megan's fate - just like her husband. While at the hospital, I was visited by the Baroness. The Baroness, doing Baroness stuff - feigned sympathy to Carly and I. She said she had put a large sum of cash - the equivalent of about $200,000 - in a trust for Megan when she goes to college - in short, her college paid for. The sticky thing w…
From a dozen different TV stations, cable channels, and even interrupting data streaming, suddenly the feed shifts to the cloth-masked face of Cobra Commander. "Citizens of the World... The Cobra strikes again. In one fell, decisive swoop, all the economies of the world tremble before my might! Already the United States’ economy has started spinning into a spiral.”
Cobra Commander raises his chin and looks down his cloaked nose at the camera. “The European Union, South Africa, China, Japan, all your currency shall be worthless very shortly. For Cobra... has acquired the entire contents of the Federal reserve at Fort Knox." Cobra Commander folds his hands, and leans back as the camera pans out, showing dozens of pallets of gold behind him. …
A burst of innovation after World War II and some good old Cold War competition led to the first space race between the Soviet Union and the United States, a 36-year battle between two global titans that led to the launch of numerous satellites, the first man on the moon, and an eventual collaboration on the International Space Station.
Now, after a crippling pandemic that shocked the global economy into a standstill, another space race has emerged—this time between titans of the plutocratic sort. The world’s billionaires — specifically Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Sir Richard Branson, and Shawn Berger, Jr. — are looking toward the sky.
Elon Musk’s SpaceX achievements include the first privately funded liquid-propellant rocket to re…
Wheeljack is in his workshop in Twin City. Piles of half-finished projects are haphazardly stacked behind him, some looking dangerously close to crashing and detonating. Wheeljack himself doesn’t look concerned. His blue optics are bright with excitement and inspiration. Talking with his hands, he says, “OK. I see a lot’s going on, and I’m going to see what I can do to help.”
As always, Wheeljack’s head panels flash when he speaks. “First of all – Imager/Spitze. I’ve worked on Dinabots before, obviously, and I’ve done some experiments with spark properties as well. The Autobot junk-dealer Daytrader stands at the bar in the Rollout, towering over Praxus neutral Cloudburst. “All I’m sayin’,” Daytrader goes on drunkenly, nearly spilling his drink. “Is that as bad as things are in Stanix – and, of course, it’s a true crisis – there’s real opportunity there. People are desperate for supplies, and there’s only so much the Autobots can officially do. But PRAXUS...” he says, leadingly.
Cloudburst looks up. “Like I said, Daytrader, we’re also trying to help, but our agreements with the Decepticons are VERY specific. A black and white Mini-Bot stands on a strip of broken and bombed out road, near a bent, burnt sign that once read, “STANIX.” Smoke billows from a town in the distance. The Mini-Bot’s optics and face are hidden by a visor and mask, but his tone is low and serious. “I’m standing here on what was once one of the main entries into the Decepticon city-state of Stanix. Until recently largely spared by the war, the road has become a new battleground with the return of ‘Primus Pilus’ Megatron.”
The reporter glances back to the city in the distance. “At the beginning of the current cycle of war, Stanix was one of the first areas conquered by the Decepticons. They built a base here, Fort Scyk, and then moved on. Fort Scyk has been used primaril…
American artist Samuel Witwicky was arrested in Tacoma while putting on his latest performance piece, #SHAME, for which sat naked on the corner of a busy intersection with a paper bag over his head and welcomed spectators to write things in permanent marker on his nude body for which they were ashamed, Dominique Sisley of Dazed reports.
The police stopped Witwicky shortly after he began the performance on Pacific Avenue and detained him for twenty-four hours. He was also given a “four-digit fine.”

Red Wolf appears in the shadowy Red Shadows lair, his hulking black armor filling most of the screen. His accent is of the American Midwest – not traditionally very villainous – but somehow through his helmet his rasping voice sounds sinister. “Cobra Commander – I am working with Destro to upgrade our Invaders and Stellar Stilettos. Any assistance by Interrogator in integrating alien technology would be most appreciated. Greasepit leans against a fuel pump at his recharge station in the Neutral Territories. Guess it can’t really be the real Megatron if he gets whooped by a sissy like Screamer.” His sneer widens, and his glowing optics focus on his visitor, waiting for the inevitable reaction. “I hear they have him chillin’ in the dungeons right now, awaiting execution as a false usurper...”

So, no more waiting. Snake hasn't come back. Hasn't responded to any of my messages to him. My Time is running out. I have to find Joe, and get him out of there, before Cobra does something to him. I have narrowed his location down to a couple of places in the town. Thankfully, Satellites show only a few places that he could be. The Arcade, or the Hospital.
But which one? Using the Computers here, I was able to back trace most of the vehicles that were in Broca, and only two seem to be possibilities for the getaway car from Atlanta. - Over Kill's presence in Broca on 02-17-2022
- Over Kill did not act like he was trying to hide.
- Church of the Coiled Serpent is…

I know Broca is a Cobra front, but can I prove it? No. So what do I do? Do I send the report up the Chain? No. I go to this town, alone, just because I can not wait for Snake-Eyes to finish his recon.
And because of that, I may have proven Broca is a Cobra base... by getting myself blown up and sliced by Over Kill. Over Kill was there, just wandering the streets. …
