"Grah!"
The Sludge-Viper never runs out of ammo, since his sludge gun has a built in decomposition accelerator which can create toxic sludge out of whatever is at hand, and propel it at lethal velocities with the noxious methane gases given off by the decomposition process. Due to the nature of the their exposure to hazardous wastes, some of the Sludge Vipers have been genetically modified unintentionally. Exposure to Compound Z has additionally mutated these once normal troopers into horribly deformed organisms.
Wiped of all independent thought, most of the BIO-VIPER 2.0 experiments follow orders mindlessly and cannot be reasoned with or sidetracked. They have retained most of their combat skills and fighting speed, but their desire to fight has been increased, making them even more dangerous than before. The addition of highly contagious Compound Z replicating in their bodies and oozing from every wound and orifice makes them horrific, walking weapons. They became so violently out of control, Mindbender had to add computer integrated body and brain implants to control them.
History[]
Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:[]
Bio-Vipers originally were created as part of a series of experiments by Dr. Mindbender in 1993.
MUX History:[]
The original Bio-Viper program was discontinued in 1994, but there are a few of them still around, patrolling the waters around Cobra Island. While others may have seen these as a failure, including Cesspool himself, they have provided a fascination to the deranged field commander
In recent years, Cesspool has been trying to crack the code to make his perfect creation. Using his resource and other resource and stolen information from CRISPR , Cesspool has attempted to recreate life the way he wants to see it used. He has taken to recruiting questionable scientists from all around the world to make his perfect
Circa 2018, Cesspool has attempted to bring back the program after seeing some unintended results from a few chemical spills on his Sludge Vipers. Cesspool has taken not and has tried to replicate this incident with many test subjects; some willing and most unwillingly. In 2022, Cesspool has been marketing the sale or use of his creations.
OOC Notes[]
Bio-Vipers are available on the MUX as Disposable Characters, with a much simpler application. They can also be apped directly as full character (format: Bio-Viper 1234), or upgraded from DCs to OCs.
