Japan

Japan

Japan is a string of approximately 3,000 islands totaling a land mass approximately the size of the state of Montana in the USA. Most of the country's flat, arable land is found along the coasts. Japan is famous for its mix of the modern and the traditional, of Eastern and Western.

Fujiyama Robotics - Japan
Fujiyama Robotics is a small lab attached to a large factory, where the technology of the future is designed by Fujiyama Akira and built by robots.

The lab is quiet except for the faint hum of machinery and the occasional hiss of hydraulic pistons. Dr. Fujiyama Akira, the Famous Scientist, is already deep in his work, his wiry frame bent over the gleaming white armor of his latest creation. At 68, his balding crown gleams under the harsh overhead lights, but his sharp eyes miss nothing. Kneeling at the feet of the towering Yoake no Tori, the Donbado, he carefully inspects a foot actuator, tilting his head as though listening for the robot's hidden secrets.

Donbado
Donbado

Donbado

The Yoake no Tori Donbado stand taller than your average human. Their bodies are distinctly robotic, though they resemble the build of humanoid females. Their white finish is contrasted by their red facemasks, the darkness of the black eyebands and offset by their red optics. Each hand is clad in a red gauntlet that reaches to their elbows. The gauntlets and their red waistbands all sport several Shuriken and sai-blades. Their feet are clad in red ninja-boots. Their white armor contain red ray-stripes reminiscent of the Japanese flag.

Pulling a small blue kerchief from his pocket, Fujiyama wipes the sweat from his brow with methodical precision, muttering softly to himself about tolerances, torque, and balance. Around him, tools clink, screens flicker, and the faint scent of oil and metal fills the air - a world of invention where only one mind seems to command order out of chaos. The lab may not officially open for another hour, but for Dr. Fujiyama, time has long ago stopped obeying ordinary schedules.

Given his history, Doctor Fujiyama is someone that the Autobots have always kept some level of a distant optic on just in case. When the man has started up his advanced robotic production again, he's someone that patrols are at a distance keeping a drive-by about. Sideswipe is currently revving around the block; an electronic paint job having made his coloration a duller grey and made him look like one of the older cars that goes about the city. Cheaper, as in one that's been running since before tariffs and taxes shot upwards for foreign cars, hence why something that looks so rusty is still being driven. A popup 'driver' in the style of a salaryman is at the wheel. Sideswipe does a patrol around the block, going slowly in traffic, and keeping his sensors online.

If the man bursts out a legion of Nightbird-bots that are all wearing bandanas of different colors posturing like evil statues made by Renaissance creators, he would not bat an optic.

Nightbird is sitting quietly in a nearby car garage, in her vehicle form, doing one of her preferred hobbies... waiting for a chance to a discuss with the doctor. Preferably a violent one.

Nightbird

Nightbird

Nightbird stands at about the size of your average Transformer. Her body is distinctly robotic, though it resembles the build of a humanoid female. Its whitish-silver finish is contrasted by her purple facemask, the darkness of the black eyeband and offset by her amber optics. Each hand is clad in a black gauntlet that reaches to her elbows. The gauntlet and her purple waistband both sport several Shuriken and sai-blades. Her feet are clad in black ninja-boots.

The faint whine of the cloaked craft cuts through the morning air before it disappears as abruptly as it arrived. From its shadowed hatch steps Dr. Biggles-Jones, a figure as imposing as she is precise. A massive railgun hangs effortlessly from her shoulder, its barrel gleaming with menace. Behind her, a dozen BATs advance in lockstep, their black-and-silver visages reflecting the pale dawn, each wrist socket bristling with lethal options - claws, flamethrowers, machine guns, missile launchers - a walking arsenal of death.

The BATs' synchronized movements are almost hypnotic, the cadence of their steps promising only destruction. Dr. Biggles-Jones herself moves with a calculated, unflinching stride, eyes fixed on the distant glow of Fujiyama Robotics, her presence radiating an unmistakable warning: nothing in her path will stand unchallenged.

Wisp makes sure to watch closely from near the facility, looking around in every direction, trying to sniff the air, and keep her ears perked up, since there was a report of something possibly happening.

Those watching easily spot a tall, auburn-haired woman in a blue bodysuit and brown leather jacket leading a group of Battle Android Troopers down the early-morning street, making a clear line for Fujiyama Robotics. She's carrying a large, experimental railgun, and obviously means business. The few early-morning hawkers and joggers clear the way quickly, although a few take out their cameras and start to stream the potential action.

The BATs move as one, their metal limbs clicking in precise, mechanical unison. Black and silver armor glints faintly in the early light, each unit identical yet terrifyingly individual in its loadout - claws, flamethrowers, machine guns, and missile launchers embedded where human wrists would be.

The BATs lack the fluid grace of Fujiyama's creations, but what they sacrifice in speed and agility, they make up for in sheer, unrelenting firepower. Silent, relentless, and utterly obedient, they march as if the world itself bends beneath their rhythm, every step a quiet promise of devastation.

Inside the lab, a quiet light flickers, blinking insistently to alert Fujiyama of potential danger, but the confident scientist long ago snoozed the audio portion, weary of being startled by squirrels setting off the alarm. He holds a screwdriver between his teeth while leaning close to a knee joint, eyes narrowing as his wrinkled brow furrows in concentration.

Around him, his Donbado stand motionless, either silently awaiting commands or powered down for routine maintenance, their white armor gleaming faintly in the dim, morning light. The faint hum of the lab's machinery is interrupted only by the occasional clink of tools, yet an unspoken tension lingers in the air, as if the room itself is holding its breath.

BATs and high-tech weaponry is exactly where the anti-vehicle Iron Grenadier Zombie belongs. A gleaming boomerang of silver and tech rests on her back next to her own heavy backpack weapon. She softly sings to herself as she walks with the others, "With their tanks, and their bombs, and their guns, and their drones....." as she follows in step, unconsciously trying to match the BATs.

As the sound of BATS and other things goes along, Sideswipe goes to rev up and then goes to call out a general alert, putting it on Autobot frequencies, then EDC and Joe ones. << WE got some sorta weird things heading in towards the scientist's place. >> How he loathes that idiot. If at first you don't succeed, fail, fail again. Sideswipe goes to rev in, heading in at high speed as he 'politely' shoves cars out of the way.

Nightbird still sits quietly in the darkness of the parking spot she waits in, her sensors sweeping quietly, her patience keeping her from being... rash and attacking quickly. She wanted this to hurt.

[EDC] Sparks grumbles, "Crap. And with most of the Arashikage distancing themselves from us, we no longer have a lot of operatives in that area. Major Wisp, are you still in Japan?

[EDC] Wisp says, "Yes I am, was just warning about that. One elite (describes Biggles-jones) and and a whole bunch of BATs. And I'm all alone here unless the doctor has his own defenses. I'd hope he does by this point, but..." She sighs.

Wisp swears slightly as she sees a column of bats and someone with a railgun. She knocks on the facility door and frowns, pulling her rifle off her back. She thumbs the intercom for now. "< Doctor? Report confirmed, they're marching battle android troopers right down the road to here, not even being subtle about it. >" She almost curses as she checks the weapon, waiting for them to get a little closer before engaging, muttering "Can't shoot before they attack properly..."

GAME: Biggles-Jones PASSES an INTELLIGENCE roll of Average difficulty.

Zombie puts herself out in the middle of the street, taking a wide stance. "Good enough then...." as if talking on comms moments before. She notes the sportscar spinning in towards the scene, and draws from her back, a large gleaming bladed boomerang of some kind.

"Well then, let's give a prop'r field test." Zombie hefts the bladed weapon, and in a pique of fun, yells out, "Go, Reverb!" before throwing the spinning drone towards Sideswipe, unaware that her sportscar she's attempting to short out is a robot in disguise! EMP crackles from the drone, to short out the Lambo.

>> Zombie misses Sideswipe with System Shock <Medium>. <<

As Zombie misses Sideswipe with her boomerang, Biggles-Jones shifts her weight, glancing over at Zombie before raising her massive railgun until it levels perfectly on Wisp. Biggles' weapon dwarfs the pilot, its barrel long enough to shadow half her frame, gleaming menacingly under the pale morning light.

"Hey!" Biggles calls out, her voice sharp and cutting through the hum of the lab. "Joe Kitty! Why don't you step away from the door before I put a high-velocity slug through you *and* it?"

Biggles-Jones' tone is calm, almost clinical, yet laced with unmistakable threat. Behind her, the BATs fan out with mechanical precision, encircling the building in a cold, silent web of firepower, their synchronized movements turning the once-safe perimeter into a deadly gauntlet. The air seems to thrum with tension, the quiet morning now pierced by the promise of violence.

Fujiyama hears Wisp's knock on the door of his lab, and glances at his security screens at last, his dark eyes widening. "A', kuso!" he mutters, glancing at other screens that reveal his lab is already surrounded. << Well, time for a proper shakedown, I guess, >> he continues to mutter, picking up his phone and tapping a cute icon that activates the Donbado robots. "Yoake no Tori!" he announces. << Defend! >>

The Donbado each come online, go through system checks, and then slightly modify the color of their armor to best blend in with the early morning night. << Hai~! Fujiyama-hakase! Yumei na kagaku-sha desu~! >> They each then draw traditional Japanese weapons and head for the air vents. Traditioooooon!

And as Sideswipe has Zombie try to slice 'an dice him in passing, the blades chink off the side of him. Sideswipe just goes to rev on << Looks like Cobra. Trying to bypass! >> He's just going to rev on past, heading towards the facility itself where the melee is. Engaging humans is always a tricky thing, and Sideswipe would much prefer to avoid doing so if possible. So, he just revs on past, reporting to the Joes and updating his position and Zombie's.

GAME: Sideswipe PASSES an AGILITY roll of Average difficulty.

Nightbird remains quiet as violence ensues... the Femme enjoying the scene for a bit before she quietly transforms into the robot form, a faint sound escaping as her form seems to flow as her nanobots shift and change, changing her form into a hooded form, her shape changing into that of the Huntress that had stalked Iacon's streets for a while, a Quintesson symbol appearing on the hood as well as her forehead.

A laughing echoes from the garage as she steps from it and lands on the ground... her appearance possibly distracting from the fact a small handful of orbs go flying all over, all letting out a hideous witch-like laughter before they all explode and light flashes the area before she stands up, a scythe appearing in her hand, dripping something that looks suspiciously like energon from it.

<OOC> Nightbird says, "https://ca.pinterest.com/pin/834010424717332621/ <-- her current appearance as she abuses her nanobots to the extreme"

Dust Devil is trying to catch up with Sideswipe when well.... he sees the cobra version of storm troopers. The hovercar transforms rather violently and Dust Devil tumbles and skids, braking and already attempting to back up. "scrapscrapscrapscrap...." Speaking of nanite abuse, Dusty's silvery blues quickly head toward a dull gray.

Wisp gets off the intercom as soon as she gives her warning, pulling her XM-8 up to sight in full assault rifle mode, looking significantly oversized on her little frame. she twitches an ear though and doesn't hesitate to sight right back at the one with the railgun, refusing to back down from her position as she peers a yellow eye through the scope.

The one visible eye of Zombie goes wide, first at the Lambo just dismissively bypassing her. At least she didn't need to leap out of the road, but then another... a hovercar of some sort gives a most unwelcome surprise. << Cybertronian! >> Were the Cybertronians protecting this doctor?

Zombie snatches Reverb out of the air and gauges the Dust Devil. What was that motto in cobra's hand to hand training? Ah yes, 'Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy'. She grunts as she throws Reverb towards Dust Devil, the drone already spinning up to unleash an explosive EMP attack.

>> Zombie strikes Dust Devil with System Shock <Medium>. <<

Biggles-Jones whirls as Sideswipe rockets past Zombie, closing fast on Fujiyama Robotics - and her. A sharp grin flashes across her face, however, as her colleague takes out Dust Devil instead. "Got it, Zombie! Excellent job!" she calls out, bracing herself as she swings the immense railgun into line with the oncoming Autobot. The weapon hums with growing menace, immense electrical currents surging through the paired rails as her backpack power source flares to life.

Banks of capacitors dump their stored energy in a single, explosive rush, sending a torrent of current down one conductive rail, through the projectile, and back up the other. The feedback crackles in the air, warping the space around the gun with raw electromagnetic fury.

A magnetic field blossoms and twists, generating an overwhelming Lorentz force that hurls the slug down the barrel at hypersonic velocity. With a thunderous crack like the sky itself tearing open, the projectile streaks forward - a line of deadly precision aimed squarely at Sideswipe's hood.

>> Biggles-Jones misses Sideswipe with Ballistic <High>. <<

Around the building, the BATs start dropping like bug-zapped mosquitos. Before they even recognize there is a threat among them, several are down, large slashes bisecting their armored torsos. << We are under attack, >> they announce belatedly, bringing their weapons around and attempting to identify their attackers.

Only after activating their infrared sensors do the BATs detect the ninja among them... and even then, with the Donbado largely leaving their backs to the sun, they are still hard to lock onto.

Dust Devil yelps as he's struck by something other than the bats he was staring at. And that's when he feels his systems having their own issues. "Dammit...." He isn't sure it'll do any good, but he tries to push the one attacking him back.

>> Dust Devil strikes Zombie with Force Push <Medium>. <<

The Donbado slip into motion like ghosts, their outlines shimmering before vanishing into the morning haze as their cloaking systems engage. One moment the BATs circle in mechanical formation; the next, jagged pieces of armor clatter to the ground as unseen blades carve into them.

A flash of steel - a Kaiken stabbing upward into a joint. A blur of motion - a Tessen snapping out to shatter optics. And then, the blazing arc of an energy katana slicing through metal and circuitry with surgical precision.

Each strike is measured, deliberate, and merciless, the Donbado appearing only long enough to cripple before melting back into cover. The BATs attempt to bring weapons to bear, but their targeting systems fail to keep pace with the constant vanishing and reappearing of their foes.

The Donbado remain utterly silent throughout - no war cries, no threats, no wasted words - only the cold efficiency of killers programmed for perfection, dismantling Cobra's machines one piece at a time.

>> Donbado strikes BAT Squad with Fan. <<

Fujiyama bravely makes it to a panic room and seals himself in.

The tell-tale sound of a rising energy weapon go to hit Sideswipe's sensors as he quickly pings it. The buildup fires off warnings in his battle computer, even as the glow ahead of the railgun round announces where it will travel. He increases his engine, racing right on past it as the weapon would miss, shooting through a building, then another building where it would explode several gacha games and a number of sparkly prize Takara toys that had been blind packed, skyrocketing the aftermarket for those that had already been purchased, increasing the value of the collector's economy like a new Taylor Swift album going off. What did Rumble say once? "Nice shooting! If you were aiming for the sky!"

Sideswipe goes to race along towards the Quintesson, going to call out, "Hey, Tentacle Face! How about we yank you off like a magical girl!" Engine revving, Sideswipe goes to race hard as he moves to try and slam his fender into her faceplate as the ninja would silently giggle like a black repaint schoolgirl.

>> Sideswipe rams Nightbird! <<

Nightbird just keeps stalking forward, throwing laughing bombs left and right as her optics remains on where she registers Fujiyama went... though a low creepy lullaby flows from her that never stops even as Sideswipe hits her, a small hop mitigating most of the damage.

A hand raises and waves a finger at Sideswipe in a naughty-naughty motion before the Huntress does an almost ballerina spin, slashing the scythe at him before she keeps almost skipping in Fujiyama's direction.

>> Nightbird strikes Sideswipe with Saw. <<

Wisp takes note of the Cobras going after Autobots, and shrugs just slightly, for the moment leaving them alone. Instead, she sights in the bats, unleashing a long burst from the rifle at them, hoping to reduce numbers efficiently.

>> Wisp strikes BAT Squad with XM-8 Assault Rifle <High>. <<

Zombie wasn't even sure what happened. She stood there, ready for the Cybertronian to move towards her, or to draw a weapon. She had already figured out her next move, to move around the corner of the building. There was a flash of yellow, and she is pushed back with violent force, smashing through a storefront window...which, better than the wall next to it, except that she goes through the entire boutique, and lands against a dumpster. She sprawls there, and groans.

Biggles-Jones curses as her high-powered attack eats up nothing but Japanese merchandise in three adjoining stores. While her backpack capacitors recharge, she turns back to see if Wisp is still pointing a gun at her, drawing her own sidearm in the process. When she sees the catgirl firing at the BATs, she yells, "Hey! Those are expensive!" She aims for Wisp's ribs and fires off a quick energy round.

>> Biggles-Jones misses Wisp with Pistol <Low>. <<

Around the battered perimeter of the building, the BATs surge into a brutal counterattack. Metal shrieks as claws lash out at the elusive Donbado, each swing aimed to shear through their cloaking shimmer and drag the robotic kunoichi into the open. Sparks fly as steel scrapes against armor, the BATs striking with machine precision and unrelenting strength.

Those farther from the melee pivot sharply, optics locking on the darting figure of the catgirl. Without hesitation, they raise their blocky, hand-held energy pistols, crimson bolts erupting in rapid succession to drive her back from cover. The air fills with the hiss of ionized air and the clang of clashing weapons, the BATs pressing their attack with the single-minded relentlessness of machines built only for war.

>> BAT Squad misses Donbado with Claw. <<

>> BAT Squad strikes Wisp with Pistol <Low>. <<

Dust Devil struggles to stand but slumps to one side, thankful that for the moment whatever was attacking him stopped. Rubbing his head he calls out, << Sideswipe what's going on? Are you okay? >>

Whatever the Quintesson thing is throwing bombs and a scythe, Sideswipe is more than happy to play. He goes to transform up to robot mode, going to spin about. "Aww, cute. Do you use that to pick your nose too?" He would taunt, even with the damage that might (to him at least) be cosmetic. It's a good thing his brother isn't here, just as cosmetic damage would have Sunstreaker the type who would obliterate the entire facility.

Sideswipe goes to radio back to Dust Devil << Some sorta thing wearing Quintesson hat and with bombs and a scythe. Engaging. Keep the rest of those things outside and busy. Don't get overrun and fall back if you must and let the Joes handle stuff. >> He charges towards the not-Nightbird and moves to swing his fist into her.

Sideswipe moves to try and smash his fist up to her face, to where her chin-mask normally would be. "So, evil tentacle schoolgirl it is. Or you do more than giggle like you snorted helium? I'm gonna take that scythe and so far up your exhaust that the Judge is going to wince in sympathy before he taunts you for it!" Swing, punch

The sleek, red Lamborghini transforms into Sideswipe's bipedal mode.

>> Sideswipe misses Nightbird with Bash. <<

Nightbird keeps up with that same movement style, a slight spin as Sideswipe comes back at her again and a hand rises up to guide the blow slides to the side and continues the motion and drives a elbow at the Autobot's face before finishing the spin and continues on towards Fujiyama's location, a musical voice echoing now, "One, two, Qianna's coming for you... three, four, lock that door... five six, grab your guns... seven eight... Oops... it's too late."

>> Nightbird strikes Sideswipe with Roundhouse. <<

Wisp notices the railgunner deciding to shoot at her with a pistol at that point, though she evades the shot from the woman, but the BAT hits her, and she staggers significantly. She doesn't back down though, instead she pulls out her own pistol from its holster and returns fire oni the woman for the moment, leaving the BATs to the Fujiyama bots for the moment as she focuses on the other problem. '

Nightbird is kinda wading through the BATs and such in the direction Fuji went. :)

The Donbado flow back in perfect, fluid motion, their steps as precise as a choreographed dance. The BATs’ claw-swipes carve only empty air as the cloaked kunoichi slip just beyond reach, their movements silent and unnervingly smooth. In near-unison, several Donbado unfurl coiled weapons from their waists and wrists - slender rods sparking to life into crackling energy whips.

With sharp, deliberate snaps, the air fills with the hiss and thunderclap of plasma cutting across the battlefield. Each lash slices at BAT armor, searing through plating if they hit, wrapping around limbs, and ripping metal apart with bursts of electric fury. Having dismissed Wisp as irrelevant, their cold, artificial focus narrows entirely on the Cobra machines, each strike aimed to disable, dismember, and dismantle the Battle Android Troopers with ruthless efficiency.

>> Donbado misses BAT Squad with Lash. <<

>> Wisp strikes Biggles-Jones with Pistol <Medium>. <<

The roundhouse clips him, even as Sideswipe goes to stagger back a bit, "Wow, I gotta say, I never expected the Quints to work with the Junkions. You thrown together by Evil Inc or something? That sounds like something they would do. So, I gonna hear the honking of the Oscar Meier Mobile anytime soon? You gonna pull out a mustache there? Or try and hit me with a rubber chicken?"

Sideswipe's next attempted strikes are hard, fast jabs as he goes to throw them up and over at the center of Not-Nightbird's cranial dome. His taunts hopefully irritating her.

>> Sideswipe misses Nightbird with Bash. <<

Biggles-Jones screams as Wisp blasts her in her right knee, shredding her red tights as bullet smashes through bone and joint. She falls to the ground in agony, twisting to stare at her knee in shock before glaring up at Wisp, features cold.

"You furry bitch!" Biggles-Jones yells. "BATs, abort mission! Get me back to medbay, fast! Collect Zombie, too!" She turns to try to stabilize her knee as the BATs break off from the fight with the Donbado and go into EVAC mode.

>> Biggles-Jones retreats from the area, leaving herself open to Sideswipe, Nightbird, Wisp, and Dust Devil. <<

Nightbird does not react after the little song, again moving almost instinctively to flow around the series of blows Sideswipe sends at her, her attention still on the building. She gets into a cutesy blow and blows a kiss towards that building before she turns and hooks a kick at his chest.

>> Nightbird critically strikes Sideswipe with Hook! <<

>> BAT Squad retreats from the area, leaving itself open to Sideswipe, Nightbird, Wisp, Biggles-Jones, and Dust Devil. <<

Dust Devil frowns as Sideswipe gives those orders. << Ummm...that's a negative those are.... thankfully leaving! You look like you could use a hand... well hopefully you won't literally need a hand... >> He stands shakily and turns to face where Sideswipe and his new girlfriend are fighting.

Dust Devil supports one of his arms with the other as he tries to aim at the dark figure. His optics flicker and are adjusting at different rates visibly. There's probably as good of a chance of him hitting Sideswipe at this rate. Eh... Sideswipe did tease him the other day. Might not be a total loss.

As the last of the BATs fall back in formation with Dr. Biggles-Jones, the Donbado cease their pursuit and glide into position with perfect synchronicity. Their cloaks ripple once before dissipating, revealing tall, white-armored figures gleaming in the morning light. Each one reaches behind and draws forth a massive energy naginata, the polearms humming as their blades ignite with radiant power.

Without a word, the Donbado plant their feet in a protective ring around the robotics lab, adopting low, steady stances that speak of patience and readiness. Silent and immovable, the Donbado become living walls of steel and energy - guardians awaiting the next strike.

The slash messily digs over into him, and Sideswipe lets out a yelp of pain as it almost cleaves clean through his chest. << Fine, do whatever you think you gotta! >> He's too caught up over in a brawl now as he's focused on one enemy and doesn't have the time to talk smash shop with Dust Devil. Technically Dust Devil outranks him too, so his instructions are more 'requests'.

Sideswipe goes to try and smash his knee up and into Nightbird's 'gut'. It's followed up by an elbow towards her face, a swing of his other fist to try and hit her torso, then a crash of his head against her dome. He moves to try and finalize it with a smash at her in the center of the torso with both hands!

>> Sideswipe misses Nightbird with Smash. <<

Nightbird spins and drops into a crouch, Sideswipe's headbutt scrapping her head but doing no lasting damage. As he puts his hands together to try to smash her in the chest the Femme leans forward and drives her free hand upwards, a knife-like blow at his throat, the sounds from her turning back into the cackling witch laughter.

>> Nightbird misses Sideswipe with Chop. <<

Wisp looks over at the Donbados and smiles at them. "< Very nioe. >" She turns then and moves to head inside once the cobras are gone and tries to see if she can't skirt around the bots and robot ninja fighting, to check on Fujiyama if she possibly can. She tries to cover the bullet hole with one hand on herself, trying to keep herself down and small as needed, to evade and check over intercom.

"< doctor, is your safe place secure? The two Autobots seem to be keeping that other robot engaged, I'm hoping that'll hold up, but it's concerning. There's unfortunately not much I can do about that without a jet to engage with. >" Wisp's Japanese isn't perfect when she's injured and breathing heavily, but she hopes she got it all right at least.

Fujiyama's voice comes back through the intercom, in barely accented English. "Thank you so much for your assistance. I am in a safe room in my laboratory, and my guardians seem to have things well in hand. Please, seek medical attention. You have my thanks."

Biggles-Jones is carried back to her stealth ship along with Zombie and flown to the nearest Cobra facility for medical attention of her own.

Dust Devil has fired several shots but well... for some reason they aren't hitting either of the people he's aiming toward. A frown appears on his face as he tries to get both optics to focus on a single target. He is hopefully aiming at Nightbird this time as he fires. Otherwise, he might have to avoid a talk with Sunstreaker later.

>> Dust Devil strikes Nightbird with Plasma-Turrets <Medium>. <<

Well, she's not with Evil Inc, then she'd be playing Britney Spears about now. As Not-Nightbird goes to chop at him, Sideswipe goes to deflect it over on his armored forearm. Her palm strike goes to fly upwards. Then he moves to switch over as he tries to keep her from maneuvering backwards to get defensive as his bulk hopefully prevents her from cleanly disengaging. He goes to try and smash his fist into her torso again and again, fist transforming over to a drillbit as he goes to try and core her through her shoulder!

>> Sideswipe misses Nightbird with Bash. <<

Wisp breathes in heavily but shakes her head at that. "< I'll be fine for now, I have to make sure you remain safe during this, with whatever means possible. >"

Fujiyama says, "Well, at least come in out of the danger!"

The lab door unlocks to allow Wisp entry.

Wisp will move in to guard the door quickly. "< Thank you, I'll guard the door. >"

From a speaker in his panic room, Fujiyama responds remotely, "Thank you!"

Nightbird still does not say much, just that high-pitched laughter. DD's hit strikes her, causing her next spin to twirl even faster, all while the damaged armor flows and reforms. She reaches out and grabs at Sideswipe's arms, bends at the waist and tries to throw him at Dust Devil.

>> Nightbird strikes Sideswipe with Throw. <<

GAME: Sideswipe PASSES an AGILITY roll of Average difficulty.

Well, the idiot scientist is safe. Sideswipe is beaten badly even as he would be launched by Nightbird. He goes to fire his rocket pack, using it to jet overhead and past Dust Devil. As he does so, there's a brutal -CRAAK - as he hits the ground, and leaves more broken bits behind. He's then transforming once again over to his vehicle mode to charge right towards her!

Ramming Speed!

Sideswipe transforms, shifting into his sleek, red Lamborghini mode.

>> Sideswipe strikes Nightbird with Ram. <<

Nightbird is knocked back as Sideswipe rams into her, her armor buckling from the solid hit. But before she strikes the building behind her she disappears and reappears behind him, using the momentum spin and kicks at the side of the speeding Autobot.

>> Nightbird strikes Sideswipe with Roundhouse. <<

Dust Devil barely manages to fall out of the way as Sideswipe tries to hit him. "Hey watch where yer throwin him!" He watches Sideswipe head right back into the fray and again he tries to help. At least this doesn't need much in the way of aiming. << Sideswipe watch yer optics sensors! >> With that, he throws a flashbang, which explodes in a bright flash of light and noise.

>> Dust Devil misses Nightbird with Blinding <Low>. <<

The sleek, red Lamborghini transforms into Sideswipe's bipedal mode. He goes through a forcible transformation from the smashing hit. His systems are on emergency backups, and only some of the improvements in the last few years keep him operational. He's also too dumb to retreat. He grunts, and then Sideswipe goes to fire his flaregun at Nightbird!

>> Sideswipe misses Nightbird with Fire <High>. <<

Nightbird manages to close her optics at the right time, the attack fading quickly before her optics open again and a creepy smile curls over the visible part of her face. A flick of her hand and the scythe in it starts to go a deeper more powerful glow. She starts to stalk forward and raises her hand, wiggling her fingers... before she just throws the scythe at Sideswipe.

>> Nightbird misses Sideswipe with Throw. <<

Dust Devil frowns as he sees Nightbird sending that weapon at him. He doesn't know if it'll be effective, but he tries to raise his forcefield to protect the mech, "His bro is the only one allowed ta hit him!"

>> Sideswipe succeeds with his generic combat roll on Nightbird. <<

The scythe is flung over at him, and Sidswipe goes to snap his hands up and over to catch it in midair, "Hah!" He goes to taunt at Nightbird, immediately throwing it away then, thinking he's disarmed her. Right as it goes to dissolve. "Aww, come ON!"

Nightbird pauses and tilts her head to the side as then almost seems to sigh, shoulders drooping a bit as if disappointed before she turns and walks away, fading away as she stalks off.
