Events[]
- Grunt, Rock & Roll, Scarlett and Snake-Eyes travel to the Middle East to rescue George Strawhacker, a U.S. federal agent, who is being held hostage by agents of Cobra Command. En route, an Army helicopter loses control and collides with the team's helicopter. Grunt and Rock & Roll bail out while Snake-Eyes stays behind to rescue Scarlett who is trapped inside. The first helicopter explodes, causing a window in the team's chopper to shatter, spraying glass into Snake-Eyes' face. The helicopter crashes and Snake-Eyes carries an unconscious Scarlett out of the wreckage. Snake-Eyes suffers third degree burns to his head and vocal chord damage. Snake-Eyes convinces Hawk to allow him to continue the mission and the team (except the still unconscious Scarlett) meets with Stalker and complete the rescue mission. Snake-Eyes is hospitalized shortly afterward.
- "Sick Day" - An early glimpse into the Witwicky family life. A 10-year-old Spike comes down with a case of strep throat. Susan, who usually spends the majority of her time tending to her younger, needier son, Buster, ends up finally spending some one-on-one time with her eldest son. During this time, Susan privately goes through all that she's sacrificed for her own career to be a stay-at-home mom. She also spends some time both doting over her eldest son, and occasionally wishing she could sell him to the circus - just as most every mom does with a ten-year-old.
- Sep 1 - "A Hellish Education": Buster bonds with his mom, confuses Star Wars figures with his older brother, and gets a taste of good, ol' fashioned hellfire sermonizing from his grandfather.
- September 3 - "Teacher's Conference" - Susan Witwicky attends a teacher's conference about Buster.
- September 4 - "Counseling" - Sparkplug and Susan discuss what to do about Buster's continuing silence.
- October 31 - "Halloween 1980" - Buster and Spike get ready for Halloween.
- November - "The Struggle Is Real" - Spike and Buster watch Sunday morning cartoons.
